03-24-08, 05:35 PM Hey just thought I would ask what are some unique and cool weapons you have used? At the moment my assassin is using a chain... yes you heard me... a chain :)

As the name suggest where a pomel should be on the Foot and 3 inch Dagger's handle instead forks into 2 prongs that support 2 elastic bands attached to a leather "catch"

The Sling-Shot is used by cuooing shot in the "catch" and pulling the **** back with elastic band like drawing a bow string, but still does standard Sling damage (1d4) + any bonuses a Enchanted or weighted shot might offer

04-27-08, 03:13 PM Assasin using chain, very good. The spiked chain is my personal favorite weapon. With +2 bonus on disarm attempts, the ability to make trip attaks with it, the advantage of reach weapons without the penalties, the ability to apply Weapon Finesse to it, and moderate damage, it is the ultimate rogue/assasin weapon. A great 10th level character build with a spiked chain wielder is human ranger (1)/fighter (4)/cavestalker* (5) . With the ranger's combat style, choose two-weapon combat. For feats, choose Weapon Focus (spiked chain), Weapon Specialization (spiked chain), Combat Expertise, Improved disarm, Improved Trip, Vae School, Weapon Finesse, and Melee Weapon Mastery*** (Slashing).

*Cavestalker PrC is from Drow of the Underdark, pages 68-72.
**Vae School feat is from Drow of the Underdark, page 57.
***Melee Weapon Mastery feat is from Player's Handbook 2, page 81.
