| Diffan02-24-08, 07:47 PM | This weapon is mentioned in a few novels such as Pool of Radiance, Pool of Darkness, Pool of Twilight, and Grand History of the Realms. I am wondering if there are any stats on it, if it's a Relic weapon, or maybe a legendary weapon. If there are none, maybe some can come up with it's stats. Some unique things the novels say it does are throwing/returning, healing properties, and dispelling properties. I am sorta leaning toward it being like the Holy Avenger, but instead of a sword, it's a warhammer. Any other thoughts or suggestions? |

| Aldareth02-26-08, 02:09 AM | i would make it a +3 axiomatic warhammer for normal use, and a +5 axiomatic throwing/returning dispelling warhammer for Paladins of Tyr , in addition it is a weapon of legacy and any Paladin of Tyr that bonds to it, receive additional powers ( healing, true sight, bonuses to saves as example, choose as you like) |

Is there a site or free download for them? The only problem with it being a legendary weapon is that you have to spend so much $$ and do certain rituals, things neither Tarl (a cleric of Tyr) or his son Kern (a paladin) did in the books. But something similar to the dwarven thrower in the DMG spliced with holy avenger quailties is appealing. I'll give it some consideration, and of course, ideas are always welcome. |

It's a simple looking metal warhammer except it has a bluish glow. At will of it's weilder, chosen by Tyr, it can up in intensity to a "blazing sunlight" causing damage to creatures effected by such light and blinding those unfortunate enough to stare at the blazing light Once a day the weilder can can a "Sunbeam" as per the spell, which is separate from the "blazing light" thing It is +5 Weapon to the Weilder chosen by Tyr, a +2 weapon to any other non evil Person who weilds it, and causes permanant, unhealable damage every round to a Evil creature that tries to touch it. The Hammer if thrown, into a Pool of Darkness, Destroys the Pool but goes dormant for 24 hours. During this dormant period Evil creatures can touch it or evil hide inside it without harm |
