Weapon Ideas? [Archive] - Wizards Community

08-10-07, 10:24 PM I need some ideas for weapons and magical items for my characters to have. Any ideas will be welcome. My characters are a vampire lord fighter, female monk-thief who becomes a shade and then a priestess, and a albino drow female living on the surface.

08-11-07, 02:02 AM A whip or maybe something with a long chain or just spiked chain. Maybe throwing magical dagger . :)

08-11-07, 12:28 PM The vampire would leave a hand open for level draining, unless of course he as a Necrotic Focus weapon (Transfers an undead creatures Drain ability through their weapon).

So, if the vampire does not have access to necrotic focus weapons, may I suggest wielding a bastard sword 2 handed.

If he does have access to necrotic focus, he may weild any weapon he wants to with power but I would suggest a spiked chain, scythe,

The monk would seem to use his fists, perhaps punching daggers.

The drow, if she is an assassin as you said in another post would be using surface weapons. Perhaps a rapier...

Vampire Fighter: Ring of protection from Sunlight, Everflowing Blood Chalice (Used as a "ration kit")

Shade Monk/Thief/Cleric: Necklace of proof against Muchkinism, Gloves with various damage bonuses such as Acid, fire, or Disruption (Gloves of Disruption, Gloves of Lich Touch, Gloves of the Fire Drake, Gloves of the Serpent,etc)

Albino Drow: Auto light sensing Sunglasses, Bullfrog 35 Sunblock (You do know that Albinos are more easily blinded by light and have no defense against Sulight and related radiations,yes?)...or more in Game terms a Ring of Protection from Sunlight and a Crown of Protection from Blinding
