primemover003 01-06-05, 05:59 PM	Starting a new campaign with my roommates and I'm trying to find a good place to start. Thus far the PC's are a Dwarven Cleric and a 1/2 drow Rog or Ftr.. We're trying to avoid the North and the Heartlands in general. I'm leaning towards the Shining South (Dambrath and the Great Rift being so close). Looking for other likely places to start (if suitable) and some brainstorming for some campaign meta-plots... I'm running another campaign currently so I'm low on the creative juices...:)

primemover003 01-06-05, 10:09 PM	Every time I try to read UE I end up falling asleep... It's just so damned dry (save the parts on the Great Dale! I like the Blightlords). I'm thinking either starting them in Delzimmer (esp with an alignment spread of LE, CE, NE, CN) or in a brig on a Corsair vessel docked in Purl (because a Dwarf on a ship is Priceless). I'm thinking the 1/2 drow's out of favor amongst the Crinti for either being an Eilistraeen or for having some ranks in UMD (no magic taught to males). The Dwarf's gonna be CN so he's already a little out of the norm for the Deep Realm... though I don't know which god he'll choose (Vergadain or Marthammor would be my choices).
