07-04-05, 11:42 AM You know what the sad thing is with this whole GenCon thingy? I live only two Counties south of Indianapolis, Indiana (Brown County) and its only about an hours drive away and I'm not going.

Why? Elaine isn't :(

I wanted to go this year but life and money just destroyed those plans. :) And well since, as you said, Elaine backed out that also put a damper on it but I'd still like to talk with Ed in person again. :)

This is an absolute riot! I love it.

Especially the dialogue between Elminster and Volo. Absolutely priceless!

Some of the best lines had to be:

"I'm sure," the Old Mage replied, in a voice heavy with disbelief. "So captivated by what ye saw of my bearded beauty were ye that not one shred of remembrance of say, the curve of a bared shoulder or the glossy fall of unbound hair on other pages remains to ye. Prudent. Very prudent. Ye might even survive long enough to depart my tower." He blew at the ink on the pages he'd been writing on and lifted his head to add sternly, "However, ye won't survive long at all if ye go on fondling those pictures."

Word of warning though. do not read this story if you work somewhere that requires you to be on the phones. Or at least not while you're on those phones ^_^

Kuje doesn't need people from this board constantly asking him to "Ask Ed for me, I need it for my campaign, even though all the information I need is in the FRCS, please, just ask Ed for me. please"
I was making a post informing others that Kuje doesn't have Ed's E-mail.

I'm not sure if it's a persecution complex that makes a person people hold on to things for three weeks that weren't directed at them in the first place (even if they were out of line), but this is just silly.

We ask questions in a dedicated scroll, which the Lady Hooded One delivers to Ed via email. We then await his reply which is posted at Candlekeep.

I can't understand why there was all this previous confusion over the matter.

Oh I wasn't holding things, I jsut just remembered as the message was going through. Figured it'd be in my best interest.

But, I was only half heartidly serious. If even half. Kuje would have known that'd i'd of PM'd him that and kept it off the boards, matter fact I'd think everyone would...

yes, I know he uses the same methods. Yes, I said that Kuje has Ed's email, but some secrets are well kepts aren't they ;) (Joking here people. Notice! lol)

I thought the matter was overs...Aiyaya..

I once more return the chat to the Spin a Yard 2004 GenCon and now the upcoming GenCon Indy (which is sadly located two counties north of me and I am not going due to Elaine Cunningham...and a Holiday World trip.)
