Authors? Um, no idea. It was put out by TSR/WOTC though.

The actual product was done by Evermore Entertainment, which no longer exists.

You can still find copies on eBay and Overstock auctions

edit....mixing up my software....Core Rules 2 was by Evermore....the Atlas is by Profantasy, I believe.

I got mine on e-bay last year and I paid around $30. It was so worth it.

I agree, it's a great program... there're some maps on it that I've never seen anywhere else, too... Level 4 of Undermountain? It's in there.

And BTW, It's a GREAT piece of software.

Levels 4 & 5 are detailed in the "Ruins of Undermountain II" boxed set (yes, there's two boxed sets for UM)

No, those are sublevels... I've got both boxed sets, and all three adventure modules. I'm talking about the actual main level 4 of Undermountain.

hmmm, my boxed set has maps for level 4, and they match the maps from FRIA, so I'm not sure what you're referring to.

Could well be that it was originally created for DOS and using it under Win9x or even XP might produce failures. Look for DOSbox emulators and try running it through them.

hmmm, my boxed set has maps for level 4, and they match the maps from FRIA, so I'm not sure what you're referring to.There's a map of Wyllowwood, one of Trobriand's Graveyard, one of Muiral's Gauntlet, and one of the Trogolodyte lair that is intermittently connected to Undermountain via portal. The last one isn't part of Undermountain itself, though. Those are the only maps that came with mine.

I went back and looked at my Interactive Atlas, and it's level 5 that they put in the new map for, not 4, on the original cd. Do a search for Undermountain, and it'll be in the list.

It might be in print somewhere, but I've never seen it anywhere but the IA.

And Buzzard: Yes, I'm suddenly having the same problem you are with the Globe, which is strange because the last time I had IA installed, it ran fine. It must be something that was recently changed in Windows that killed it.

Must be the XP SP2 :(

I would love for a new and updated Realms atlas to be created. I've heard nothing but cool things about the original.

I don't think Wizards is doing any more in-house computer based products. I think they are letting other companies do their cmputer products for them. Their e-tools is now done by Code Monkey Publishers.

I don't know what really has to be updated. Can you think of any borders that have changed? I can only think of the presence of the city of Shade.

Some things got changed as far as locations go... you'll have to dig pretty deep for it, but I remember a thread saying some city moved over a hundred miles, and some things simply got cut out.

There's also the remains of Tilverton, most notably, though that can be changed in the atlas with a little time and CC2.
