Hi. First post ever.

I've seen there's many digital images of Faerun, but nowhere an actual wall map. Does anyone know if they are for sale (new) somewhere on earth?

OK cool.

There was on the forgotten realms part of wizards a place to download a file that you could print up into a wall map.

The only other one of wall size that I know of, was the one that wizards gave away with Dragon a few years ago.

Sorry if neither of those are of any help to you.

There's a decent map of Faerun in the FR campaign setting.

TSR put out a City of Waterdeep Trail Map in 1989. There may be one somewhere out there (You're not getting mine so don't ask). It is a wall poster map (37" x 52" I think) with the upper half being a map of Faerun and the lower half of Waterdeep. The 1st and 2nd edition boxed sets and regional accessories also had poster maps, usually two parts that when folded into fourths was the height and width of the books they came with. I had both sides of a hallway in an apartment I lived in covered with these maps (and yes, I still have every one of those maps and the boxed sets/accessories they came with).

I've always wanted to mount my trail maps together on a wall or ontop of a dinning room sized table. =)

Unfortunately, the Waterdeep (i.e., Faerun) Trail Map doesn't line up well with the Kara-Tur trail map. Where there's an ocean on the lower right corner of the Waterdeep, there's a dry continent on lower left corner on the Kara-Tur side. Just needs a touch of handwaving to make it right. :)

It sure would be nice to have a 3E map of the whole shebang...

Damn, those Trail Map things are getting pretty pricey!
All these years of buying D&D stuff and missed them even being released. Ah well, I was only 16 when they came out. Seems to be somewhat of a rare find. Sadly I see the 1E Deites and Demigods with the Cthulhu stuff in it is still pretty worthless.

I don't have the Kara-Tur map, are they the same scale? If they are then that's another TSR twist. They had a tendency at times to have different designers develop different areas seperately without matching them geographically.
