A petition for WotC to do the following! [Archive] - Wizards Community

02-27-04, 03:28 PM This is a petition...well...sort of. It's basically for players to just give their User ID's (not real names) and show support for Wizards of the Coast to see that we would like the following things done:

#1: Update the following Wyrm's of the North to 3.5 Edition:

Jalanvaloss, "The Wyrm of Many Spells"
Iymrith, "The Dragon of the Statues"
Hoondarrh, "Red Rage"
Gaulauntyr, "Glorytongue"
Galadaeros, "Sunset Flame"
Deszeldaryndun "Silverwing"
Daurgothoth, "The Creeping Doom"
Claugiyliamatar, "Old Gnawbone"
Balagos, "The Flying Flame"
Arveiaturace, "The White Wyrm"
Arauthator, "Old White Death"

#2: Update the following Realm's Personalities to 3.5 Edition:

Lirela Drumsinger
Jesanta Beril
Alak Abaeir
Selinah Varhast
Sindonish
Methrammar Aerasume
Thordek Stonebreaker
Akordia Pharn
Jhaurmael Riversedge
Teliene Coloara
Ashemmi
Malark
Ramas Fezim-Ret
Cala Graycastle
Irilivar Celevessin
Rornar Gordrinn
Khemed

#3: Alter Valamaradace "the Dragon Queen" stats to make her a Female Great Wyrm Gold Dragon and all the modifications that follow.

02-27-04, 03:47 PM I do not agree with this petition.

For one thing, as I just replied in your other thread, there is nothing wrong with Valamaradace's age, unless she suddenly got a whole lot older.

As for the rest, I'd rather see new fluff than more stats that I could easily flip over myself.

02-27-04, 04:30 PM I agree with Wooly, no need for a update of these, anyone with half a head can do it themselves. If there is new fluff to publish, all the better, but no need for a full 3.5 statline for them.

02-27-04, 04:41 PM Sorry I really don't use stats for iconic npc's. :) And if I did i'd change them to suit my needs, if I needed them to do some thing that are not listed on thier stats.

02-28-04, 06:08 PM The original articles have no stats so the DM can use the dragons as she wishes, and so as not to give players information they shouldn't have. The web articles got stats as part of the 3E quantifying-everything plague, and the work needed to change them to 3.5E would be an obscene waste of energy given the backlog of unpublished Realmslore.

02-29-04, 07:39 AM If there is one thing that I would love to see in the Realms, it would be fewer statted NPC's. Don't need or use 'em meself.

I would like to see Books on Waterdeep, on the lands of Intrigue, actually on all of the lands, Oh and maps Big maps that i can Gte laminated and hang on my wall to prove to girls that I am a Huge Geek.Speaking of maps Did anyone else get the Four part map From Dragon of Faerun. 287 - 290. I got it laminated and then USed clear packaging taper to tape them all together. It takes up one full wall of my Bedroom.
