Hi, this is my first time posting here, and I'm sorry if this question has been asked before. Is Bahamut and Tiamat the same gods as Krynn's Paladine and Takhisis? If so, where dose that leave their Faerunian worshipers, since

There not the same Gods.

It's never really been said one way or the other..... And now that 3e realms is split from the multiverse, it really doesn't matter at all. The Corellon from Greyhawk is not the same Corellon in FR, etc.

So with that in mind Tiamat is not Takhisis, etc.

2.6.Is Tiamat in the Realms the same as Takhisis in Dragonlance?
According to published materials for both settings (as well as Planescape), the best answer is "yes and no". Most DMs seem to think that they are separate but strangely similar deities; however, quite a few people play them as the same power in different aspects.

(The above answer also applies to Bahamut and Paladine.)

They are the same (if you consider the orginal publications), but Paladin and Takhisis are only their krynnish aspects.
To die there might hurt and reduce your power, but that does not kill a whole god.

Jerel,

which novel has Paladine becoming mortal in it?

I'd be interested in having a look...

No problem. :). I believe also there is supposed to be a spin of trilogy about the "main" character of those three books.
