What what do you think your abilty scores (Str, Dex, Con, int , Wis,Cha) would be if you was transformed into a RPG character.
Famder

07-28-03, 06:40 AM
Str: 12 (I'm a wiry lad)
Dex: 15 (quick on my feet, but not as great as a 16 would be)
Con: 16 (I can endure a lot and don't get sick too much)
Int: 15 (still got a bit to learn, but I'm bright and take in stuff quickly)
Wis: 12 (still room to be enlightened, but I can enlighten people already)
Cha: 6 (not a good looking chap, bitterness because I'm not a good looking chap makes me an ass a lot of the time)
CursedMoredhel

STR 12-13 (little over average)
DEX 17 (great hand eye co-ordination and agility excellent however strangely me thinks it could be better
CON 11 (varies i get sick average amount however can hold alcohol well strange....)
INT 16 (pretty smart good at figuring things out)
WIS 10 (when it comes to experience i got it but up till that point i and got enough insight to read into the consequences)
CHA 13 -14 (Good at communication not to stingy on the women, yet not up myself)
Neblin of the Green

07-28-03, 07:30 AM
Str: 13
Dex: 13
Con: 15
Int: 14
Wis: 14
Cha: 11 (Sober, +6 Bonus when quaffing a couple beers) :)

Scores my pre-occupation in study and experimentation. The Str score reflects my previous participation in sports.

In general just a bit above average. Nothing heroic like.

Dex:17 (I can be very quick on my feet)

My scores are definitely not playable. I wonder why God didn't let me reroll.

In retrospect, putting the 7 into Wisdom wasn't a good idea for me. Hasn't really been working out...

I'm definately not a D&D Hero:

STR 8 (can't do a pushup)
DEX 7 (I trip over my own feet constantly)
CON 5 (I've been a sickly lad all my life)
INT 16 (I do have 2 sticks to rub together, though)
WIS 9 (I'm just a tad below average in common sense, but I am below)
CHA 7 (I'm BUTT freaking UGLY)
Ilbreth Shadowblade

07-28-03, 07:09 PM
STR 13-14 (I don't look like it but I can do 30 pushups on one hand - and the othe too)
DEX 16-17 (I'm rather thin, so I'm fast and agile)
CON 9-10 (average; I sometimes have health problems):(
INT 16 (i think that would fit)
WIS 11-13 (I'm 19, so not much experience)
CHA 15 (not all that bad lookin' and smooth talking  )

Damn, I have stats like a good rolled elf - some people even say I look like an elf (no, I don't have pointy ears, and funky-colored eyes).

My stats would make me a good Rogue or Wizard.
GoodOlWillickers

07-28-03, 08:34 PM
Str - 8 (I'm pretty weak)
Dex - 9 (I'm tall and hit my head every now and then, but I'm mostly good)
Con - 15 (I'm never sick and have a good tolerance for pain)
Int - 17 (My teachers say I'm one of the smartest people they've ever met, I just can't apply myself)
Wis - 6 to 15 (I have really good common sense, but can't apply myself)
Cha - 11 (I'm kinda egotisitcal and long-winded, but people still find me likable)

Heh, you might've noticed the long-windedness and ego in other posts. Sorry 'bout that, I try to stop myself when I notice it, though.

Peace

well me and my DM were wondering and devised a way to figure out our stats, but they were fairly specific tests really so ive amended them a bit

str 14 (at the time anyway, i was doing karate but ive stopped thanks to those bloody GCSE exams, so i have about 9-10 now)

Dex 16 (accurate to the width of an eyeball with a rolled up piece of chewing gum paper, the one who managed the feat of throwing straight from the pocket, a 20p coin across about 8 metres, through a crowd into the temple of a cowardly year 8, he even fell over from it, brilliant shot. cant catch well though :) )

Con 15-16 (can take a beating and still come up smiling, rarely get ill, can survive sensei steves evil stretch techniques and the dreaded press up position hold without complaint, also on many a winters day ive called my friends "southerners" for wearing a coat or saying its cold, while i happily stand there in my shirt)

Int 13 (cleverer than average, i can grasp the rules of D+D easily enough at least ;) after the GCSEs though my maths has gone to... er... poo (silly cencorship rules))

Wis 12-18 (really quite hard to gauge that for yourself, we dont know how to rate what we percieve because we only know what we notice, not that which we dont, so we dont know ho much we miss. hmm i think i should get a +1 to wisdom for that :D i tend to notice things other people dont (like aragorn dropping his sword twice when fighting the uruk hai in the first LoTR movie) and can usually figure out a lie or mystery (type thing) given about an hour of passive thought, i can see the foolishness of things like power, STARTING violence, and trying to get more of something than you need, though that may just make me self righteous, like i said, i can't tell. woow long explanation  oo im s**t scared of spiders as well though i know the ones i mostly see can't hurt me so theres a penalty to my score :( )

Cha 10 (cant really tell, i dont think ive ever been called ugly, i've even recieved compliments on how i look but i have a fairly big lack of confidence in myself outside of aggressive situations and im not old enough to post a picture on that hot ot not website so i just don't know, though i have often intimidated or fobbed people off as situations demand)

i'd probably have the rage ability for something like 2 rounds at a time 2/day, many a situation has gone to berserking when people go just an insult or random punch too far, then its white out time for me and black out time for upstarts, i can never remember what happens when i rage but i've been told it's good :)

well there ya go, not that this will be of any use to anyone beyond the lesson that a 20p coin can drop someone if you hit them right :smirk:

INT: 15 (Post-grad in psyc, last WAIS-R test said 130s or summat)

Holy Crap! I didn't know the WotC boards attracted the cream of humanity! My God, 17s and 18s in int. Before you guys cure cancer using duct tape and invent time travel machines powered by hamsters, tell me, I want to invest money in your endeavours.

Too bad there isn't an Ego ability score.

Anyway:
Str: 16, according to the carry weight chart in the PHB
Dex:12, good reflexes and coordination
Con:11 Average joe here
Int:14, Smart enough
Wis:14, not easily fooled, read people pretty good, good ears for those listen checks and when I get a hunch it's usually dead-on
Cha: I have no idea how to calculate that so a 8-12 range will have to do. But I'm 100% sure I have max ranks in intimidate.(kinda tested it... several times :D ) Though the 6'8" 340 part probably helps.

Ego Score: 20: If I had a little humility, I'd be perfect

STR 16, have alway been pretty strong can lift more than 230 but not quite 260.

DEX 16-18, was a gymnast in high school but that was a while ago, overall though I'm fast and have good I eye-hand coordination.

CON 14-15, grew up with asthma but rarely sick but have allergies, but can drink for 2 people my size. Can still run 2 miles if I had to.

INT 16, smart got above average SAT scores, and military testing, also holder of high quanitity of useless information.

WIS 14, fiance says I'm gullible, but only she pulls anything over on me, a lot of people ask me for advice.

CHA 14, most people like me enough to just talk to me on their own. Can hold my own in conversation with just about anyone.

Might be a monk/fighter type.

Over the last year or two I've found several online self-stat tests, self-race tests, self-class(es) tests, and self-AL tests. They all tend to say the same thing:

AL: NG (a couple suggested LG, but most say NG)
Race: Elf (every time, probably sun or moon, considering descriptions given for them)
Class: is the most diverse result: Bard, Cleric, Druid, Monk (rarely), Ranger, and Wizard have all been suggested by the tests online.

Stats:

Str: 6-9 (usually 7, sounds about right; on the other hand, when I deal with weights I usually do very well for back and legs, but very poorly for arms, and most questions usually deal with the latter than the former)

Dex: 12-16 (usually 14, sounds about right, I have good reflexes and almost never miss when throwing an item at a spot less than 20 ft away - whether the 'spot' is moving or not.)

Con: 12-13 (I haven't been seriously ill (flu, etc) in almost 11 yrs. I get a cold maybe once a year. Maybe it should be higher? But I have low endurance for distance running, so perhaps it is right...)

Int: 13-16 (usually 15; nice, sounds right)

Wis: 16-18 (usually 17; nice, but I still am uncertain why a score so high  )

Cha: 10-11 (never a bonus, either pos or neg, Oh well, at least it helps prove accuracy of the test :D )

Thus, I am: NG Elf Brd/Clr/Drd/Rgr/Wiz
Str 7, Dex 14, Con 13, Int 15, Wis 17, Cha 10

Now if I can only get my classes worked out.... Maybe I should add a couple levels of Geo or MT :D

About the most accurate "stat gauge" is the net-based attribute chart you can find on google. Even that is (obviously) not very accurate, seing as how it is based by event-driven results. For example, if you can do [X], you have stat [X].

For all the boys and girls throwing stats of 16-18 on this website, check yourself and remember that humility and honesty--even in as trivial a forum as this--is probably a better policy than trying to impress those who are likely to never meet you.

Stats in that realm pay in the six figures a year, whether you are a fighter (Pride, UFC, Golden Gloves, etc, etc), a LUCKY fashion model (because there are far more individuals working in the adult film industry than for Calvin Klein), an athlete of some sort, or an expert in a field of some sort.

Don't jump on my case for all the above, because this isn't a pointing fingers session. But if half of you are as strong, dexterous, intelligent, or charismatic as you claim to be, I'm calling my Congressperson, because you all should be fighting crime in a costume--RIGHT NOW! ;)

11 I am average
10 still average
12 Not super, but no alergies, rarely sick
13 I pick up things quickly, and can solve problems
15 Ability to read people and situations and change accordingly
13 Fairly attractive, but can talk my way out of most things.

I would be a cleric of some minor diety probably. Nothing fancy, but something that allows me to travel. I am no one alignment, but am closest to nuetral good. I would never reach very high level.

str 13 - i'm a pretty big guy
dex 8 - i'm a bit clumsy, and not so fast
con 15 -i can take alot, and don't get sick, but i have alergies
int 15- i've been told int is proportional to iq
wis 11 -i'm logical and have common sense with politics
but i lack common sense when dealing with people
char 13 - i'm not a super model to say the least, but people seem to like me

also i'm neutral good with chaotic tendancies.

if i were a class, it would be ranger. i know my way around the woods, i'm kinda religious, and i prefere two weapon fighting.

Commoner/Civil Engineer 3rd/4th

Str- 14-5 due to gym

Dex- 13 decent, good speed for my weight (95 kg), good reflexes.

Con- 16 i can take punishment pretty well and have never been sick for more than a day. I was sick 4 times the past 6 years.

Int- 11-2 i hate math and those stooopid IQ tests!!!

Wis- 10 i trust people easily and my judgement sucks some times (have to put my next points there)

Cha- 12 Long beard i cut my hair very short and shave once every three weeks so i get a -2 in encounters with other people

My alignement is NG (i am sure of that now) but the old Wizards alignment test 4 years ago told me i was LE.

I would be a standard Fighter in the realms and with my bone crunching mace i would fight to protect the Dales!!!

Ok, it just has to be said: These threads where people post "their" stats are amazing. ALMOST EVERYONE has at least 4 stats far above avarage. And no one ever posts anything below 6. Now, there are two possibilities:

1.) The nembers of the WOTC-boards, or at least those who post on the "stat yourself" threads, are the select few, the elite, the best of the best.

2.) Most people are vastly overestemating themselves.

Honestly, what do you think is more likely?

Side note: To those who believe they are STR 16+, have you ever carried an adult, strongly-built man while marching for 8 hours? Or even a 100-pound-backpack (MUCH lighter and infinitely easier)? Let's just say that being able to simply lift 200 pounds over your head for a few seconds in a gym does *not* mean you are as strong as bugbear.

1) Not going to bother on this one, not worth the response.

2) All the stats as is are subjective, the only one that can be measured in any form of tangiability is strength. That said just as many people could be underestimating themselves as there are people overestimating themselves.

SIDE NOTE: Who other than a war vet under combat conditions would carry a full grown adult for any length of time. However according the Carry and Exploration rules;

Lifting and Dragging: A character can lift as much as his or her maximum load over his or her head.
A character can lift as much as double his or her maximum load off the ground, but he or she can only stagger around with it. While overloaded in this way, the character loses any Dexterity bonus to AC and can move only 5 feet per round (as a full-round action).
A character can generally push or drag along the ground as much as five times his or her maximum load. Favorable conditions can double these numbers, and bad circumstances can reduce them to one-half or less.

If a person can lift an amount over their head then according to the rules of the GAME, and it is just a game, that is the load they can carry, which pretty much equates to that being their strength. Let people have their fun.

Actually, 1.) and 2.) are alternative answeres. You cannot "not going to bother with this one" with 1.) and state that stats are subjective. The stats are subjective relative to the avarage. If someone is above-avarage in everything, he clearly belongs to the best of the best mentioned under point 1. As it is next to impossible that everyone who posts such stats in the various "stat yourself"-threads (the appear frequently, and most people give themselves incredible stats), one has to conclude that most people here are either not very realistic or honest. If you think about it for a few minutes, you will have to agree, as it simply is the only logical explanation for the stats people come up with.

SIDE NOTE: Who other than a war vet under combat conditions would carry a full grown adult for any length of time. However according the Carry and Exploration rules;

1.) Fire fighters, those people who enjoy hiking, and most recruits in the armed forces (there are still conscripted armies out there, btw) are all going to carry heavy weights for extended periods of time. Just to name a few examples.

2.) Unfortunately, the rules do not state how long you need to keep a weight over your head in order to make it count. As it is simply a fact that you can bench-press much heavier weights than carry for extended periods of time, the rules obviously refere to carrieng something over your head for more than a few seconds (i.e., bench pressing).

Let people have their fun.

Hey, I don't wan't to ruin anyone's fun, but sometimes people seem to think that an 11 means you are bad in something, and an 9 means you are a total loser in that department. While everyone who runs for an hour each day just has to have CON 13, even though running for an hour is something any healthy human being can easily do without any problems at all with even a minimum of exercise.

Perhaps I should start a "Save low scores foundation".

I agree with Meldorian, alot of these ability scores are way out of proportion! I came up with a way of calculating intelligence, sort of, for ever 10 points of iq, you have one point of intellegence, so an average person would have 100-110 iq=10-11 intellegence. It's not a perfect system, but it's the best I have.
As for me...

11 str (I can lift heavy stuff, but the only arm wrestling match i've ever won was against my little brother)

6 dex (I can't seem to do anything without something being hurt)

10 con (I am usually healthy, and have average endurence)

14 int ( I didn't use my system for this because I don't know my own iq, but I'm one of the smartest people I personally know)

14 wis (I am only 16, but I have more insight than many peope twice mt age)

12 cha (I'm a little heavy, and I'm pretty average looking, and shy;
but I have an excellent personality and sense of humor)

I'm a 1st level expert, and my alignment changes daily.

Hmm, this is very tricky.

Str: 16. I bench 320lbs 10 times. I don't max anymore because I once tore part of my pectoral while lifitng 350. That is after working my way up the pyramid from a starting weight of 155. I can cleanpress 275 above my head too about 6 times. I am also in the armed services and have carried a 80 pound pack and a rifle up a mountain for 8 miles. I'm also 6' 205 with about 15% bodyfat, not Mr. Joe six-pack great but not tubby either.

Dex: 13. Hmm, I think for my size I have pretty good balance. I play alot of beach and indoor volleyball and also flag football to keep my hand-eye coordination and balance good. I can dunk a volleyball but not a basket ball. I am also ambidextrous, writing with both and throwing with both, though I am stronger with my right hand. Took Karate for many years too while I was young and growing, it really helped develop my coordination. I'm no gymnist though. And not sprinter fast by anymeans.

CON: 12. I get sick once a year on average, it lasts a day. I can jog forever but actual speed running will tire me. Never been knocked out in a fight and I have taken several big punches throughout my life. I also do not posses any allergies what-so-ever. Once again though on the flip side I'm no Joe six-pack (anymore). Though I maintain myself relatively fit.

Int: 15. What can I say, I was told my I.Q. is between 145-155. I have also never struggled with anything scholastically. If I apply myself even a bit I usually do real well in tests and such. Heck, I showed up for 3 classes in Statistics, opened a book to study the day before each exam, and walked out of the class with a B+. Should have showed up for the reviews I guess to get my A.

Wis: 12 I say this is above average only based on a few things. One, I figure riddles out pretty well. Two, I never, ever get suckered twice by the same or similar situation. Three, I have traveled alot and have met many people throughout my life. Four, and this is funny but my parents are even more well traveled and world wise than me, I mean they have been virtually everywhere, even dangerous places (Columbia in the early 90's, Russia in the 70's etc) and they have passed alot of their wisdom (and they still do) to me about what to do in this or that situation. Five, I am not afraid to go out and try new things, I view each and every one of them as a learning experience. I have done quite a bit and learned from all. Last, most of my friends and subordinates seek my counsel for matters of life. They have said my advice has generally been solid. Bad qualities include: I am not afraid to admit I'm worng, more often than not I am in the right, but I rarely posses the true wisdom of just letting an argument go and seeing beyond the right and wrong. I am also very competitive when it comes to certain sports and activities. I rarely can just play a sport for fun, it always ends up in a competition. I do see my faults and try to work on them.

Cha: 12 This is tough. I only say this because. One, most women find me decently attractive. No Brad Pitt mind you but most say I'm an attractive guy. Never had a problem with finding and keeping women either. Two- I am a leader of men, whether I like it or not, other people look up to me for counsel, information, guidance, leadership etc. It is both a boon and burden, as sometimes I'm not always willing to be the "rolemodel" that I feel I have to be. I am also very personable and others enjoy going out with me. I love life and enjoy nothing more than having some friends or family over. But neither am I dependent on people. I can have a perfectly good evening by myself. On the other hand I am very stubborn and can be both bullheaded and downright rude when the mood fancies me, though I always feel ashamed because of the whole setting a bad example thing. I am not afraid to admit I'm worng, but often times I am not, which combined with my stubborness can be a turn off in itself. I am also sometimes lazy, preferring to spend a day in D&D rather than spending quality time with a significant other. But I find when I do go out, people are glad to see me.

Overall besides being pretty strong and smart I'm not superman. But when compared to the average guy I find my self just a bit quicker, fit, wiser, and charismatic. And while I am not a millionaire I do make a comfortable living, and more importantly, enjoy what I do. Sorry if that bothers anybody but I feel it's an accurate assessment of my abilities.

Sorry but 1.) sounded more like sarcasm so I was going to skip answering in that context. Since they are “stat yourself” threads I certainly agree there will be askewed stats but as I answered in 2.) some I believe will underestimate themselves also. The stats are subjective cause you average high school kid will heft around a 30-50 bookbag with out missing a beat which at a glance would give them a STR of 10-13 yet not me able to lift the max. I’ll put it to you another way, there is no objective way to accurately measure a persons abilities in D&D terms. Out six stats only 2 of them have ‘appropriate’ scales in the real world, I have heard various arguments about the viability of IQ test, most of which are convince for and against. Just as we using strength to prove points, strength has a level of subjection also, just between upper and lower body strength alone. Who would have the higher Dex score, the Olympic Gymnast Mitch Gaylord, pro baseball pitch Nolan Ryan, or NBA pro Michael Jordan? All out of hand I would say have high Dex scores but how do measure dexterity. Einstein created modern physics but could tie his own shoes so What’s his INT? Marathon runners can still die from a bee sting, Lance Armstrong won the Tour de France 3 times before being diagnosed with cancer. What their CON score? Who’s hotter Pam Anderson, Halle Berry, or J-LO? Depends on who you ask, but what would their CHA be? All the abilities are subjective and really can’t be measured. Can a people be overestimating their stats? Sure but could they underestimate also? I say yes because there is no way to know what a person’s score in any ability could be.

1.) Fire fighters, those people who enjoy hiking, and most recruits in the armed forces (there are still conscripted armies out there, btw) are all going to carry heavy weights for extended periods of time. Just to name a few examples.

1) I also agree that firefighters, hikers, and recruits carry heavier loads than the average person over extended periods of time, yet I doubt highly that those loads average a full grown man. In fact most firefighter gear doesn’t weigh much more than a football players gear, which would even be in the area you average hiker and recruit carries which could range between 35-70 lbs of gear, which is still half a full grown man. And only the recruit will be put under the conditions of having carrying that weight for 8 hours, and I think that may be a rare instance.

2) Neither of us can debate this point since as you said the rules don’t say how long said loads had to be carried, lifted, held etc. And it doesn’t necessarily state carrying for extended periods of time. It could be applied to dragging a stunned character out of a field of fire just as well as a regiments march time to another city with full battle gear. I go with the belief that what a person can bench is their strength because a person can hold and carry more than they can ‘bench’, which coincides with the rules stating the ‘Lifting and Dragging’ section.

Define ‘healthy human being’ because easily half the people I see would rather die than even try to run a mile much less run for hour, and I’m sure running for an hour would kill a good portion of them. If someone can run for a hour I’d give them more than 13 to their CON. Half of Americans are overweight, half of them are obesely so, according the some studies I’ve read and heard, I’ll admit to generalizing but I think few of them can run for an hour, and that is 130 million people out of a 260 million populace. Not to say the have low CONs but running for an hour is not easy in any way average person is supposed to be able to exert themselves at peak for only a few minutes. Doing stuff like that is why athletes are athletes.

I have noticed a peculiar pattern, those who are writing INT 16-18 tend to have low CHA...

Arrogance will always impact on personality if you really start to believe you're own hype.

Also IQ is totally irrelevant. IQ tests are all (ex WAIS to some degree) baised towards white, middle class/upperclass, males. I know a few ppl will go, 'thats not me and I've got good IQ!'

Well good for you! as for the rest, c'mon people, INT 18? lest put you in the ring with Einstien or most proffessors and see how you come out...

P.s I know my spelling suxs, but so long as you get the idea i could give a ****.

Good point Timber Rogue, it was a bad idea for me to base intellegence on iq, I hear by withdraw my aformentioned (sp?)
statement.

@Lawless:

The problem really seems to be the definition of the average and what an increasing score means. If you go by the average of the current-day population of the US, CON 10-11 means something entirely different compared to just 50 years ago, when nearly every young man could be expected to easily pass the military's basic training. Heck, *I* were able to pass friggin' basic training a as a conscript (not an American, though), an I am certainly no sports-guy. A seargent with a good voice does wonder to one's CON score, it seems.

It probably comes down to personal taste. You see, when I think of STR 15, the picture of the bugbear from the MM comes to my mind. That's supposed to be STR 15. And STR 18 I equate with a 8 ft. ogre. Therefore, I tend to interpret ability scores much differently from someone who just bench press = max heavy load. I personally would rather bench press = twice max heavy load, as in "can lift off the ground, but just stagger around". And then, STR 13 already is quite impressive, and STR 18 nearly unreachable. Accordingly, I consider an 18 in any other stat as nearly unreachable, too. Obviously, others see this differently.

@ Meldorian

I understand what you're saying, I gues I just have a different take on it. I view the Bugbear and Ogre stats as average for those creatures no the limits of their abilities. I think the average bugbear has a STR 15 which makes them pound for pound stronger the average person but not the average ogre, but I would say their could definitely say that both could be vastly stronger. I agree that 18 should definitel be a hard to reach stat, but I don't think of it as unattainable. Going by rule mechanics 18 is the starting limit for a human being not the cap of their potential. Through hard work and experience a person can increase their score. A friend of mind from high school couldn't bench 100 lbs back then but could put his 90 lb kid sister over his shoulder and run her up a flight of stairs, creepy I know, a year later after joining a gym he was benching 150 lbs. Which would change his STR by at least 2 points no matter which may you looked at in D&D mechanics. I really don't think it matters what a person thinks their score is because there isn't really a way to gauge it, so it doesn't matter if their right or wrong.

Personally I'd put Einsteins INT at 20 not because he was a genius but because his thinking revolutionized modern physics. A genius can just know a great wealthy of information and facts but to think outside the poverbial box as Einstein did is something different, plus was achieve over a lifetime of study, which would account for XP in an abstract way. If I remember correctly the max a person has ever bench-press was in the area of 700 lbs, monstrous I know, which would put the STR at 24 by my thinking. Going by game mechanics the guy would have to be epic level to do that naturally, but I think it just shows the flaw in the system in D&D. If you think about it going by the rules it would be impossible for a person to push a car because of its weight, yet people do it everyday, with varying degrees of difficulty. And I'm sure we have all heard amazing stories of people doing phenomenal feats of strength under stressful conditions, mothers all but lifting cars to save their children etc.

Sorry think I started rambling.

Its nice that you look at pictures ( bugbear ) , but it is not compatable with the strenght score ( at least not the way I see it.
A character that looks strong , most likely has a high constitution and does not have to be strong. vice versa someone who looks weak can still be quet strong. Fysique and strength are often seen as the same thing , but are infact two different things.
According to the core rule books , using the "normal" dice roles it is possible to roll a natural 18 , nowhere does it state that this role on your stats of strenght makes your character look like the Hulk.

By the way , who cares ! Let people have their fun !

In real live most people will be happy with an 11. This is Fantasy!

STR 11
I'm not overly strong

DEX 10
If dextarity related to speed, though, then I'd be 14. As a bonus for existing I apparantly got the Run feat for free (as I never trained or anything)

CON 16
Do you know how many punches I've taken in my life - and not even felt them?

INT 14
I have an IQ of 140, which is classified as SUPERIOR. (10=100, 12=120, 14=140, etc)

WIS - 8
Um...yeah. I'm a bit blunt at times, which can hurt some people's feelings. I tell it like it is.

CHA 20
I have had people like me who I've never even met before. Don't know them, they like me. Don't even ever have to say 'hi'. They like me. And according to many, I'm hansom (I don't think so...)

I'm a 3rd level Commoner (I've had a lot of experiance)/1st level Expert (Mostly with knowledges)/1st level Warrior (I'm surprisingly good with a sword - any kind, really - and can hold my own in combat).

As for feats, I have Run, Skill Focus (Knowledge: History), and Exotic Weapon Proficiancy (Katana). No, seriously - I own a katana, of course I know how to use it. Although I prefer rapiers and the dagger.

Str: 12 (I work out, just not very often)
Dex: 8 (I can dribble a ball, just don't ask me to run at the same time)
Con: 16 (Hearty Irish stock. Doesn't take me long to recover from most bumps, scrapes, fractures, etc.)
Int: 18 (Hate to toot my own horn, but I've worked hard on this one)
Wis: 14 (Avid occultist and spiritualist)
Cha: 7 (Because I like to toot my own horn . . . but in a hermit like way)

Well i dunno my scores but im sure my physical abilities r all average. Maybe dex could be 12 or 13...But im smarter than any other spellcaster.(int might be very high). If u want to know why take a look at my Space-time fun post....while it exists...

when you people say that you are not very strong, you say that you have about 10-11!!! Thats what an average human has! The characters you create have such high ability scores because they are heroes!
"so what do you do for a living?"
"well i mostly fly around beating up bad guys because i have 18 in str or i develop a cure for cancer because i have int 18!"

I've always thought that the fact that they are heroes has very little to do with their ability scores and more to do with the fact that they can achieve class levels. A zero level commoner with 18 strength will still get slapped around pretty badly by a 6th level fighter even if he is only of average human strength (say 8-11). Many NPC's without class levels can have similar stats to the heroes in the game, they just lack training in the skills that make the heroes heroic.
