| egeborg11-16-04, 10:41 AM | Hi everyone! I'm planning to start a campaign in the Silver Marches area and the city of Silverymoon in particular. I think the city is fascinating due to the political climate, its sorroundings and of course, the mythal :) ..But I feel new ideas on city adventuring would be of great help now, since I've run mostly dungeoneering adventures for a decade! Help me me out please with plots, ideas and angles on adventures in Silverymoon... Anyone? :) |

Have her be a patron to the PC's and ask or pay them to collect things for her to sell or horde or use for evil purposes. The Ladys College could be a great place to use also. The students, the teachers, etc. Have a few students get kidnapped or lose magical items (since they are absentminded or just forgetful). Or they invent something that has the city up in arms while the palace tries to help out... Teachers would have background, etc, and maybe they did things in thierr past they don't want others to know so they could be being blackmailed. Also check out my file in my link or my thread on the main FR boards or my FAQ. Ed has supplied us with a lot of other info about Silverymoon and so do a find for that word. Also in my FAQ there are web articles about Silverymoon. Larlake, Alustriel's latest consort, for instance. Hmm ATM that's all I got. :) |

Intrigues, blackmail, hidden villains and possibly politics... And a college would be the perfect start! :) The party consists of A Cleric of Mielekki, a fighter, rogue, a wizard book collector and occasionally a jack 'o all trades.. All good aligned and with an average level of 15. Any more ideas out there? |

The priest of Mielikki could be useful as well by using her/his superiors and giving her/him some events to follow up on. Maybe like guarding animals or even being a guide and protector for some NPC's who are hiring them... If they NPC's get injured or what not it could come back to haunt (not like an undead haunting them. :)) the PC's and cause trouble for them. Hmm again that's all I got atm. :) |

Cool. If I come up with any thing else I'll post. :) But that's a start and gives you at least 5 ideas to work with..... |
