I am thinking of playing a LN cleric of Waukeen in a new campaign. I'd like to come up with some sort of adventuring charter/contract that explains the dividing of treasure, responsibilities of members, rules of conduct, and possibly the steps one has to take to join the group and the steps the group has to take to get rid of a member who is being a pain in the *** or just not doing thier job. I'd like it to have as much legal mumbo jumbo in it as possible. Has anybody come up with something similar that I could use as a template or have any ideas?

thanks in advance for any help or advice

Hm..... maybe try looking online for lawyer contracts and just change them/it to fit with what you want it to say?

A good idea, make it legally binding under church laws so there is limited prosecution rights outside the issuing realm. A few places that this would take off: Waterdeep, Raven's Bluff, Tethyr, Silver Marches, Dalelands/Carmanthyr, Moonsea (sort of).
Kuje has the right idea, find yourself some lrgal gobble-di-gook and copy it as close as possible. Make sure you have 'party of the first party', 'issuing agency', hereby and forever noted', well you get the picture. :D

Kujie has the right idea - get hold of some modern contracts and rewrite - you may be able to find them online or in in business supply stores for many "canned" contract forms (rental agreements etc.) also check with local printers they may have some for recent runs for businesses. ANother good source is yoru local library or college library - check the business sections for books on contract law - they should have samples you can copy on the copier in the corner - if you want the whole book (why?) go to a bookstore ;) .
