Age of Worms in the Realms [Archive] - Wizards Community

01-09-08, 07:10 PM Hi.Well I was wondering if anyone here coverted the Age of Worms adventure path for the realms and if so,can you give me a few opinions on it?I recently found a group of ppl in my town,and we're thinking of trying it out.
So how is it?Is it the 20th lvl char in a month type where u just soar from 1 to 20 in an eye blink?That's my major concern.Thx.

01-09-08, 07:32 PM Eric L. Boyd has written articles and web enhancements (http://paizo.com/dungeon/resources/downloads) which allow the "Age of Worms" adventure path to be played in the Realms. Search the Paizo archive for the "Age of Worms" PDFs.

I personally suggest you play it in core and Greyhawk because Kyuss dosen't really belong in FR lore in the first place and making "changes" to the campaign like that would really destroy much of the backstory and legacy of the event itself.

01-10-08, 04:06 AM Thx for the feedback.The conversion appendices Eric L. Boyd wrote are really helpfull,and i simply don't have the time to create a campaign right now :|,so I will have to go with this.Thx again :).

01-13-08, 11:32 AM Don't expect that it will take your group to level 20 in a month! this campaign is MASSIVE, and I've been running my players through it for the last TWO YEARS!!! (no kidding here, a full two years!)

We're not even at the last adventure! we have three more to go!

And for those who worry about how it fits in the Realms, with Erik's notes, it fits superbly, even better than into canon I think...

I also suggest the book Elder Evils for more information on Kyuss and additional campaign hooks you can add to your game.
