does anyone know where to find some of alaundo's prophesies? They could make a good basis for a campaign.

If only it were that easy :P

I mean, it gets kinda old listening to the same 5 guys ranting and raving about the same things over and over again

But does anyone know where you can get more information on his actual prophesies and so on?

I can't think of any of Alaundo's or Augathra's prophecies recounted in detail except one to do with the Fall of the Gods. You probably need to work something up from the Roll of Years.

:teach:My only thought on the matter would be to make your own take a look at history in the FRCS and look at the name of your currunt year and do something that goes with the name of the year works well actully I think I'll do that exact same thing god I amaze even myself sometimes :OMG!

I was looking for Alaundo on the internet just a moment ago, and I found this site (http://12.232.108.96/game/campaign/information/groups/alaundo.html). It was the best thing I could find...

Good, but not canon.

To be precise, the "Sixth Portents" (the one that says "White birds shall vanish from the North, and great evil shall die and be reborn") is, although I can't remember which FR product it came from offhand.

The "Fifth Portent" and "Ninth Portent" are homebrew. But still good. :D

Not bad for homebrew. I'm using that Ninth in a game right now.

Hmmm... Now, I suppose it'd be too much to ask if anyone had a largely intact roll of the years? Theres the (abridged) set in FRCS timeline, but I'd be really interested to see the names of as many years as possible.

I know there was a WOTC website that has it, but I can't find it at the momment. Instead, you can download the same list from here (www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/ Castle/2566/rollofyears.rtf)

The Candlekeep entry in the 1993 Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting gives "A golden unicorn shall travel unmolested through the length of Waterdeep" and "White birds shall vanish from the North, and great evil shall die and be reborn".

The Roll of Years is here (http://www.wizards.com/dnd/files/Roll%20of%20Years%20Table.rtf) on wizards.com.

Ahh, don't pay any attention to Alaundo, he was just a hack.;)

The really impressive seers of the Realms all hailed from the Southern lands and Steven Schend was clever enough to get Elminster to chronicle some of these predictions/prophecies in "Empires of the Shing Sea". A great source for this sort of stuff.
