Alusair "the steel princess" age? [Archive] - Wizards Community

12-28-03, 12:15 AM I was wondering exactly how old is Alusair. Also if anyone knows Caladnei's age (however you spell her name).
Finally does anyone know Maxter the defender of suzail's last name?

No idea on Maxter or Caladnei.

Alusair was born on the 9th of Eleint in the Year of Snow Winds, which is the 1335th year of the Dalereckoning, or the 1310th year of Cormyr Reckoning. Exactly how old she is depends on the exact date of one's campaign; as of the opening of The Sapphire Crescent (the latest-set Forgotten Realms novel), the Steel Regent is 37 years, 7 months, and 1 day old. She is one month and seven days younger during the prologue of The Crimson Gold, which is the latest FR novel to be released.

[This according to the article "After the Dragon," which appears in the 1999 Dragon Magazine annual.]

No age is given for Caladnei anywhere that I know of. From their interaction in "When Shadows Come Seeking a Throne," in the Realms of Shadow anthology, I'd venture to guess that her age is close to Alusair's, but exactly how close, I couldn't say.

The full name of the Defender of Suzail is Maxer Hlarr. There is no "T" anywhere in his name.
