Hi,

I am fairly new to D&D and especially the Forgotten Realms. My friends and I want to start a campaign in Amn involving travel between Athkatla and Crimmor. We have quite a lot of stuff like "Races of Faerun" and "Magic of Faerun", as well as the "Player's Guide to Faerun". However, is there anywhere we can get more official resources on Amn in term of the politics, culture, customs etc. and maybe stuff dealing specifically with Athkatla and Crimmor?

Are there any books you can recommend or link to stuff on the Wizards website that the search tool might have missed? Especially maps of Amn/Athkalta/Crimmor would help a lot.

Thanks
T

Lands of Intrigue box set. Crimmor was also written up by Ed in a recent Dragon article. :) He also gave us more about that article in my 05 file. See my sig.

Volo's Guide to Baldur's Gate II also has info on Athkatla. :) Of course so do the 1e and 2e campaign box sets.

A bunch of 2E FR books can be found for free here:

Including Lands of Intrigue.

Do you also have the 3.0 Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting? That has more info on Realms locations than the other books (like PGTF).
