What's new in Candlekeep, 10-Oct 2007

4) Also by Jared Rascher's, a fantastic article based on the recently announced events in 1385DR, entitled Anatomy of an Apocalypse.

Enjoy.

Very interesting indeed...

My players have given up with the whole 4ED thing and are happily enacting the killing off of Shar and downgrading Cyric to just a demigod of murder...

Tanks for sharing the link :)

No problem. I am running in the year 1362 so I don't care what happens in 1385. If I were to move that far forward I would ignore the 4E plots as well.

You are welcome for the link.

I did my own version but it's not as good.

So, will Cyric start sending Terminators through time to kill the survivor of that ritual?:D
Thats pretty sad that people are starting to make stories up, to fix WotC mistakes!!!;)
For all we know, the 4E Realms could seriously kick major :censored::rolleyes:

Not sure if it is canon or not.

It is on Candlekeep so I would imagine Ed read it before it was posted. If that is the case, it's good enough for me.

It's non-canon and just made by a Webmaster.

Technically, everything posted at CK is non-canon, although some folks hold far more weight officially then others. The article by Brian R. James, for instance; the author of Grand History of the Realms.

Ed, of course, being the exception. From what I understand, it's in his contract that everything he says IS canon.

Cool, huh? :D

This is definitely not canon, but if you like it, make it canon!

I don't plan to acknowledge the Spellplague at all, but KEJR's work is always very good and thorough.

great work indeed... maybe some official who works on the 4E will read it and it will be cannon one day

then both realities clash and only the better one (no Spellplague) will exist anymore!

It's very good, despite the usual grammar and spelling errors.

Kept me up way too long, but a very intriguing idea for a story is in there... impressive.

I was hoored to do the two maps for him in the CK Compendium - his contributions to the community are impressive and his research EXEMPLARY.

Designers take note: You don't have to 'bring in the Death Star' to make something interesting. ;)

Yes, because this is bigger than the Tuigan Horde.
