09-19-03, 05:23 PM I've been trying to figure this out... but I can't seem to come up with a good measurement. The PCs are sailing out of Athkatla across the Trackless Sea to Maztica. They'll be sailing as part of a small fleet of merchant ships.

How long of a journey should this be?

I'm looking for the distance in miles... if anyone has a good idea as to this distance, please, let me know!

The Maztica box set says it takes 40 days to sail from the Sword Coast to Maztica, and then 60 days from Maztica to the Sword Coast because of the currents and winds.

If you go near Evermeet, you could cut off 15 days but then you might end up some where you don't want if you hit the teleporters that surround Evermeet.

How long to sail from Waterdeep to Caer Callidyr? I've gone through all my FR books and all the core books, and I can't find any useful information about ships, speed, or sailing times.

Any help would be appreciated!!!

:) It's in the Moonshae sourcebook. 8 days from Callidyrr to Waterdeep. Waterdeep to Callidyrr it's 10 to 11 days because of the current.

05-10-04, 06:57 PM Those are the same distances I used when my group was commisioned to go to Maztica. It was a blast running a few adventures there. Good Luck to you!
