Hi
I didn't know where to send my enquiry, so I decided to start this thread; I hope someone at Wizards can answer me.

Well, I ordered the anthology "Realms of the Elves" through Amazon (UK), back in February, I got a couple of weeks afterwards an email telling me that it would be delayed a couple of months; almost at the end of this period I received another email telling me of another 2 month-delay.
A couple of days ago I received the last one, saying that my order has been cancelled due to the fact that Amazon can't procure the item from the providres...
So, what's the problem?, it is sold out all around the world?, I can't find this book in any gaming shop or book shop, neither in the internet. Are you planning to release another "batch" anytime soon?

I am a bit frustrated by this.

hmm this is strange as my local store has a fair number. have you tried other online book stores.
capters.ca is pretty good. and if you can't find it there try abebooks.com you might be able to find a copy, most likely used, there.

There were a couple of copies in my local Waterstones the last time I checked, as well as in a few hobby shops. I can't imagine the book has gone out of print already.

There are a couple of copies on Ebay right now. Unfortunately they're from America so you'd need to pay extra for postage and packaging, but when you convert the dollars to pounds it doesn't come out a lot more than the UK version. Or you could just keeping checking Ebay and sooner or later, someone from the UK is bound to sell his copy.

The easiest option is the one that is often not the most obvious. Get the name, author, ISBN number, enter the next decent bookstore and ask them to order it for you. If they have a decent PC connection, they will tell you how fast you will have it.

BTW, German amazon has only 2 copies left on stock, but they expect a new delivery shortly, while Amazon.com seems to have no problems at all. Maybe the first delivery to Europe fell short of the actual demand.

Go back to the amazon.co.uk page, click on '17 New' (or however many there are), and buy it from a third-party seller (note: postage is £2.75 per book).

Thanks for the advice Faraer, the book depository rocks!!!
Even with the postage fee it was cheaper than with other suppliers, and faster too.
