Has anyone here who's characters reached epic levels ever allowed them to travel to the other worlds in the FR cosmology? I've only recently gotten the FR campaign setting book for 3.5 (a gift from my lil bro) and was starkly amazed to find an entire planetary system discribed- though in very vague terms.

Are there any canon sources that mention these other worlds in any detail with regards to their geography, flora and fauna, etc? I tihnk it would be fun to have a campaign that lead up to exploring another of the planets in the FR cosmology. I know space travel isn't exactly a D&D staple, but since it's there as a possibility, I was wondering if it had ever been used before.

The 2E supplement Realmspace is what you're looking for. It details the other worlds in the Crystal Sphere, and how magic functions in Realmspace and the like. :)

And in 2E, there was an entire campaign setting designated to space travel, called Spelljammer.

Thanks GothicDan... that was EXACTLY what I was looking for. I like to write and know how to create decent characters, and often write stuff for my little brother's group. I was hoping to give them a campaign that would carry them off Toril and on to either Anadia (being as it appears to have life only at the plese, it would be a small thing to design) or Karpri (similar because it's icecaps seem to limit habitable areas to nearer the equator).
