| Dalimar06-25-04, 07:44 AM | Any Ideas? I'm running a game set in the unnaproachable east. My players are a Spirit Folk Shadow Walker Ninja 3 (from a recent Dragon Magazine), Shield Dwarf Brb 2 Ftr 2 (aiming for a battle rager) and a human Sor 2 Clr 2 of Kosuth (aiming for Mystic thurge). they started off as slaves for a red wizard, forced to fight in a series of gladitorial contests in westgate arena. They were transported to Telflamm in Thesk via a portal in the westgate enclave to the red wizards enclave in Telflamm. The Ninja was going to get a hand severed for disobedience but the deity Mask gave him a choice through his dreams - serve him and he might keep his hand. The Ninja agreed and managed to escape taking his fellow gladiators with him. After a month in hiding the Red Wizard has left Telflamm but might run into them again in the future, but what do I do now? Thanks Dalimar |
| tauster06-26-04, 04:43 PM | let them somehow get into trouble (should be no problem; my players constantly manage to get into trouble all on their own ...even without my "help"! :D ) and let someone help them out so that they owe him/her a (big) favour. their friend is a harper who asks them to sneak into thay and liberate a group of slaves. if you´re kind, he´ll provide some plans of the slavers estate. if you´re generous, he´ll mention the dungeon below it. if your very generous, he might even know about some traps and/or guardian creatures down there. but don´t overdo it: under no circumstances will he reveal that the slaver in question is their former owner! :smirk: let them find it out the hard way: after they are caught red-handed and are thrown into the prisoncell across from the slaves they were to liberate, the guards finally (after a few days without food, if you want to compensate for your earlier generosity  ) summon the landlord, ...and guess who will thank the pc for kindly returning themselves to their legal owner! how they escape this time? that´s another story... after a while, the harper will get nervous. after an even longer while, he might come looking after them... or: the red wizard decides to make an example of them. when he is just about kill them very messily or using them in a really creative arcane experiment, someone of his own guard saves them, thereby abandoning his cover-identity. long live the harpers! :D tauster :) |

| RobTzu06-27-04, 06:20 PM | ASk the P.C.s what they want to do. (What are thier alignments?) Failing that they can be approached by the Teflamms thieves guild to take out some of the Shou gangsters. |
| Dalimar06-28-04, 08:10 AM | Thanks for your ideas. I'm sorry WizO_BigSister for posting in the wrong place!! RobTzu my Pc's are CN (Dwarf brb/Ftr), LE (Sor/Clr of Kossuth) and NE (Ninja).
