There has not been any new post on the Forgotten Realms page on the Wizards web site since September. Could it be that the company is loosing interest in the franchise?:(

There have been a few Realmslore articles posted since September. Unforuntately they can be a little difficult to find, so here are the links Master Sylvius:

I think that the FR Site will be up and running again in or around August of next year. Getting all the bugs out via the main D&D site.

Don't worry, those will get fixed with 5E.:D

I was gonna say 4.5 - you're even worse then me. :P

Worse? I would call myself an optimist, don't you think?:D Especially since I stopped believing in improvements since the transition from 2E to 3E (I still hate them for virtually killing my favorite race half-elves).

-Those all require you to have an online DRAGON subscription, however.

No, they only require you to have a D&D Insider login account, which you already do because you have a Gleemax account. All of the account information is shared between D&D Insider and Gleemax. Dragon doesn't cost a thing until 4e launches.

-See, that is something I did not know. So, what's my Gleemax account? E-mail?

Yup. Just use the same login info you use here, and you should be fine.

Must be if Forgotten Realms is the first published campaign setting to get a 4e treatment next year.

Wizards is just saving the articles for D&D insider. Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?:P

Wait a minute. :uh-huh:

Isn't DDi the "cow" you're referring to?

It might just be that WotC doesn't want to put anything up to avoid any unfavourable reaction.

I think it's just a case of poor organisation. New Realmslore articles have been put up, they are just stuck in Dragon magazine, rather then linked to on the old Forgotten Realms website. The request for questions to be put to Chris Perkins for his interview was originally put on the Gamer Zero section of the boards. One of the posters here had to link to it.

There is new information and lore out there, it's just poorly organised. That's all.

Hey, I'm not the one that suggested that Wizards.com take over the Dragon and Dungeon magazines in electronic subscription format. :noway:

The name is cliched, but the article is actually quite nice.:) I like the information about ancient human realms, and the possiblity of a PC being descended from the same house the lich is from (that'd be an awesome plot!).
