| Brenigin10-13-05, 07:33 PM | From this week's D&D Minis preview for the Underdark set: Next week -- Guests on our show will include a reformed assassin... This set is supposed to contain several FR characters (we've already seen Elminster, Artemis Entreri, Guenhwyvar, a Nentyar hunter) and I can't think of anyone else who fits the description of "reformed assassin" quite like Arilyn Moonblade... |
| Kuje3110-13-05, 07:41 PM | I don't see her, and never have, as a assassin.... even a reformed one. |
| Brenigin10-13-05, 07:49 PM | Yes, but she did start out in Elfshadow known as "the Harper assassin". I notice Dargoth actually beat me to this on the DDM board - sharp work;) Though someone else has suggested Erevis Cale, since it times nicely with the release of Midnight's Mask. |

Yes and that wasn't her but her blade. I don't see it as her as I said.... Cale makes more sense. :) |
| Berzerker_prime10-14-05, 12:22 AM | Errr.... Arilyn's job before she became a full-fledged Harper was to sneak into places and kill people. Sure, she let them arm themselves and faced them in fair combat, but she still snuck into places to kill poeple. In fact the first time we see her in Elfshadow, she's sneaking in someplace to kill someone. Just what isn't assassin-like about that? That being said, I still doubt the new mini is Arilyn. She didn't really have much reforming to do, per se... Berz. |
| Dargoth10-14-05, 01:42 AM | Ive seen 4 FR contenders floated for the "Reformed Assasin" 1) Arilyn Moonblade: Who I think it is 2) Cale: Id call Cale a "reformed thief" not a reformed Assasin I dont believe he was killing people for the Night masks 3) Artemis Enteri: Who I think we can totally rule out as hes not reformed and hes already appeared in a preview 4) Jaxalle: While he would fit into the whole Underdark theme again I dont consider him to be reformed or even an Assasin |
