It was in 1358 DR, just after the Times of Troubles. Matron Yvonnel Baenre planned it before, but when the gods went silent it all stopped in its tracks. House Oblodra then used its psionic might to gain power, but Lolth (and the other deities) were back in time and the latter was up for House Oblodra. Soon afterwards the army went on its way and the whole thing was decided during the Battle of Keeper's Dale, to a large extend by the light of the new day which wreaked havoc among the still AD&D drow.
