Hi ... a few years back ... can't remember exactly when, there was an adventure published in Dungeon that took the PCs into the Stonelands, eventually getting the opportunity to rule the Stonelands as a fiefdom of Cormyr. I browsed the issues on Paizo ... maybe I'm not reading correctly. Anyone know what issue that was?
Thanks!

Wasnt it called Door way to Everywhere and featured a Netherese portal annex?

Yeah , i finally found it by googling the title you suggested. It's issue #88, unfortunately not downloadable from paizo, I have to wait for the paper copy in the mail. :(

But thanks for your help!

Cool. Who wrote the adventure?

'Twas Roger E. Moore.

'Twas Roger E. Moore.

Cool. I seem to recall liking his work. I may have to see if I can get a copy.

I just found a copy on ebay for $1.

Then I reread my FR campaign setting ... under the Stonelands it does mention that Azoun IV did offer the title of Baron to anyone who could clear the place out, build a castle, and establish a settlement ... but it's good to have adventures that flesh the place out.

Not sure why anyone would want to try it, though, if Anauroch is going to eat the place soon. It'd be like building a house on the Outer Banks of NC.

I just read over that adventure last night in fact, and it has enough detail to really base a whole campaign around, so I think your money will be well spent. :)

The growth of the Anauroch stopped at least a few years ago (game time), not sure of the year.

Plus for a human, it would barely have grown at all within their lifetime. =) Let your ancestors worry about the blowing desert.
