09-10-03, 10:35 PM What i personally think is that they give a genaric name to the child of bhaal and make him/her a god wither good or evil if wizards diecieds evil murder would be an ovious choice and what i what but if good as far as know mercy is open and never has been used (never bought the diety book am a Noob) but if not why can't there be a god you mercy????? or make a new god of murder what do you think the new god should be

I´m glad he is, because he is very good at what he does, and no new murder deity is needed.

I don´t think there´s a deity of mercy, but I´d give the portfolio to Ilmater (perhaps) or Eldath (sooner) or Lliira (definitely) any day. The concept is a cool idea though. Maybe something to base a campaign around...Ascension of the Merciful God. :cool:

09-12-03, 04:25 PM IMO, the most important "unused" portfolio in Faerun is Freedom. No god specifically watches over an individual's right to forge his/her own fate, which is a very important thing, although many (Selune, Shaundakul) would approve and ally themselves with such a god.

I once created this god, calling it Fichte (off the Idealist philosopher with its theory of absolute freedom=absolute self-realization) and telling how this interloper deity came to Faerun. That was funny :D though I don't have the original document anymore.
