Just a quick question:
Which FR book explains better the drow?
Please answer me so I can get it or ask for it...

Drow of the Underdark, but some of it is dated now since 3/3.5e changed the rules. :)

When it comes to history and background, go for The Drow of the Underdark, Demihuman Deities, the Menzoberranzan boxed set, Drizzt do'Urden's Guide to the Underdark, and maybe Cormanthyr - Empire of Elves. The latter is a free download on the official FR site.

These books are all AD&D, but the description of the race and their background have changed very little.

As for D&D 3E/RE, Underdark as well as Races of Faerūn provide some knowledge, as does Lords of Darkness. Though I would rate only the first one as a must-have.

Apart from that, Green Ronin (e.g. Plot & Poison) or Mongoose (Sheoloth) have sime good drow books too, but you have to ask your DM whether he allows third party stuff in your campaigns.

Just thought I'd add a suggestion...

While it may not br chock full of rules, You may find any of RA Salvatore's books good reference matrial: A Drow-eye vew at Underdark politics. Also, There is a Dragon Magizine (I forget what issue number) but its full of good drow stuff. Worth a look....

I've read the entire The Dark Elf trilogy, so I understand drows, but I don't know how to run a campaign with them (rules)..

Thanks you all, I will get the Players Guide and will look into others...

Nothing in that issue, though, is Realmslore. Zanan cited the main sources.

Dragon Magazine 227 has Monsters of the UnderDark, 228 has gangsters of the UnderDark so does 238, issue has creatures of UnderDark, issue 172 has about Skullport. Any of RA Salvatore's Drizzt Series or Elaine Cunnigham & 1 other author give the basics, but the Drow of the UnderDark (FOR2) or the Mezno box set are good for the rules. I do have a friend that is really into the drow, if I could get an email address I could pass it on to him & maybe he could help a bit more.
