Book order question [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-16-08, 10:24 AM In regards to Erevis Cale. He has his own trilogy, but he is also mentioned in the Sembia series. Should I be reading one series before the next?

Also, before I start posting more threads about novel reading order, is there a link that has recommended reading order?

03-16-08, 08:09 PM Not to come off as a cheeky contrarian, but the author himself (Mr. Kemp) recommends that people read the Erevis Cale trilogy first, as he feels his writing in the EC trilogy is much improved.

But if you want to read the Sembia series first, go right ahead! In the end, it doesn't really matter that much (that's my own opinion--read whatever books you are most interested in).
