03-30-05, 05:43 PM I've heard a lot of mentioning of a Menzoberranzan boxed set. Obviously, this came out before I began my fighteningly-deep obsession with the drow :D

Does anyone know where I can purchase one of these? I've looked online and only found people selling used ones - is it out of print/make/whatever?

Also, was any equivalent ever made for Shade?

All box sets for FR are out of print since they are mostly 2nd edition. :) I'd try ebay, nobleknight.com, or some of the other out of print sites. There's a list in a sticky'd thread on WOTC's out of print board.

As for Shade, nay. Most of it's info is in Lords of Darkness. However the Netheril box set, which is one of the worst FR ones, has some info on it also. WOTC has retconned parts of that though, at least dealing with Shade and Lord Shadow.

Might want to try other pdf sites as well, I think it goes for around $5 or so for a pdf version.
For a real version, expect to pay anywhere from $30 (original price) or more, more likely more, because only a fool would sell that for less than $50.
I know I wouldn't part with mine for less than $100, and mine other than the box being a bit worn, is almost like new (especially for the books), maps might be a bit roughed up, but what you expect from unfolding a set of maps a few times.

03-31-05, 08:57 AM Actually i have seen it on Ebay more than a few times. As always with Ebay you can get something for next to nothing and other times you will pay through the nose if you are not careful.

04-01-05, 10:41 AM I got mine off e-bay, but be advised the info in it is woefully out of date. It was printed before Triel was the matron of House Baenre.
