Trog 10-13-03, 05:19 PM	To make a long story short, the party was killed during the side track adventure Spiral of Mezzanine that was in one of the Dungeon Mags. But...the events of CotSQ roll on, and using the timeline provided in the module the undead army will emerge from beneath Haptooth Hill in Battledale. The new(old) party will be right in the middle of all this. Has anyone else, DM or player, played this out and what and how was it handled? Thanks in advance.
Crust 10-13-03, 08:14 PM	Actually, I was in a party who tried running through the City module. Once I started student teaching, I couldn't play, and the campaign fizzled. Once I started DMing again, I decided to use the Incursion campaign idea in my campaign, and it's working nicely. The githyanki first arrived over Daggerfalls (taking over that region using surprise and force), and northern Cormyr. After failing to free Bazim-Gorag from a nearby ruin (thanks to the PCs), they are now amassing an army of humanoids to help in the taking of Shadowdale and the rest of the Heartlands, meeting with their fellow troops in Cormyr. Since the City campaign fizzled, perhaps I'll unleash the undead army on Daggerdale during the PCs attempts to retake Daggerfalls and the nearby castle. That could prove very, very interesting.
