Well in order to avoid banishment:(

The general idea for the campaign i play most of my new players in the Dales with some adjustments just for you.

It starts in Ashabenford were they witness an assasination by a Zhentarim wizard. He escapes and they try to capture him. He goes to Shadowdale were they lose his tracks. Before any good leads come up for his wereabouts you can play them the Twisted Tower adventure in the old FR boxed set (download it maybe?) or anything else maybe a small Raveloft interlude and then back!.

After the adventure they may find a clue from a passing merchant from Zhentil keep. Take them to Zhentil keep. The whole trip can be filled with encounters so the characters dont get bored.

In Zhentil keep they track him down and kill him inside a small outpost. They find about his plans of attaking some elven settlements and Mistledale and race from the city, where everybody should be chasing them by now, to deliver the news to the authorities.

They help defend the elven communities and ruin the plans for the main attack. The Mistledale mayor gives them land for reward as well as some sort of honorary rank in the militia of Mistledale.(they get help from them hereafter).

End the campaign with the massive City of The Spider Queen adventure! Take them to 17th level and retire them.

Story begins within the anauroch. the pcs meet an arcanist (yes arcanist ) called Terraseer. He is a mystery guy and the pcs can't even see his face. He tells that he is assigned by mystra herself (we don't know if he's a choosen) to tell pcs about the quest. He tells that they've choosen on this job which is very difficult. They'll be sent back to netheril and stop karsus from casting the spell "karsus's avatar" ( you can find it in http://boards1.wizards.com/showthre...3094#post903094) They are going back to 3185 NY. Since, karsus's CR is 41 (bigger then el ) this is an epic game. But in 3185 NY, karsus is 22 years old and his CR is 23. When they kill karsus, they come back to anauroch, and see that karsus reincarnated himself and become a demilich. The sword coast north, northeren hearthlands, hearthlands, waterdeep, dales, sword coast is ruled by Netheril. Choosen's are always fighting, and the elminster is death. There is a little to do. Karsus wants a revange, and they meet again . . . ( I got the story from Command and Conquer, red alert)
FAQ: q: Can't mystra see what will happen?
a: She does, but she wants to people to cast epic level spells yet again. Whenever the pcs kill karsus, karsus will seek only vengance, not to become a god.
g: Who is terraseer?
a: He is a mystery, he only apperas when a problem arose. And Mystra choose her to tell pcs about the quest.
q: So, he is a choosen?
a: Not so, he is only a massenger.
Q: is he and mystra having a fair?
a: :nonono:
q: is he a good kisser?
a: I don't know, i never kissed him ;)
