Can't get an answer on another board about FR campaign setting [Archive] - Wizards Community

06-15-07, 06:03 PM I'm wondering if the foldout map in the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting book is as good as those found in Dragon 287-290 or is it identical?

06-15-07, 06:53 PM It has been updated. The FRCS book is 3.0 and is outdated with all the novels and modules since.

I still have the Forgotten Realms Atlas. Very nice drawings in that book.

The map in 4 issues of dragon makes a larger map.
As for the detail in those maps? I cannot tell you.

When I moved into a house with hideously coloured walls that I couldn't paint (rented), my 2.0 Forgotten Realms maps were good posters to cover up as much wall as possible (remember how huge those 3 or so foldout maps with the basic campaign setting were?).
