My group of players, which all of them have diffrent good alingments, want to
know what to do if they capture an evil NPC in the middle of nowhere. With no hope of draging him away.
Would they execute him, bind him till they return, or give him a pat in the back so he can return to his evil ways.
Please help!
Lawful, neutral and caotic good.

All this depends on a number of factors:

Did they catch said evil person doing something evil? If yes, than how evil?

What do the heroes do for a living? A Paladin is probably going to be less forgiving than the average Joe.

Who do the heroes worship? Consider a worshipper of Tyr's capacity for forgiveness versus that of a more pacifist deity.

What kind of culture do the heroes come from? How does that culture deal with evil individuals?

What kind of personalities do the heroes have? Do they believe in redemption? Do they count in the possibility of magically-affected evil (e.g., the old "Helm of Opposite Alignment" gaffe)?
