Ive just had a bit of splurg and bought a whole heap of Old Dungeon mags and was thinking given WOTC reluctance to publish more FR modules why not convert some of these old modules to 3ed/3.5.

Now we'd only be converting the stats and maybe on a occassion changing the plot of the origional if it no longer works for the FR in 1373 so if you wanted to help you'd have to have the issue to play the module.

Anyone interested? Im thinking of starting with the Mere of Dead men series in issues 69-73

I have those issues and would be glad to aid your endeavor Dargoth. A 3.5 conversion guide would certainly be handy at this point, but I think I could manage pretty well without.

An example of what Im thinking of doing

Restat Shan Hsi in Slave Vats of the Yuan Ti in the origional module shes a Human Yakuza when i convert her Ill probably restate her as a Monk with levels of the Shou Disciple PrC and give her regional feats from the Shou area

I would happily use the final results of your labor :)

I used to have spare time, but not any more. Sorry for not being able to pitch in.

Altering the substance of these scenarios to fit the 'current' company year would be sabotage, in my view. (Good modules as "Eye of Myrkul" and "Sleep of Ages" are, I wouldn't have tied them to a specific date at all, as Eric did -- that's 'bad game design'.)

One module which would be a nice download for wizards.com would be Ed's stonedelve "Irongard" (Dungeon #18), as mentioned in the FRCS. Unfortunately I'm not 3.5E-fluent.
