Xidis 08-27-03, 06:56 PM	I want to get the FRCS but there are a few questions I have since it and its accessory books (races of fueran, unapprochable east, ect.) were made for 3.0e. How hard would it be to convert these books to 3.5e because I dont want to have to buy the books and then spend hours upon hours of revising them. Thanks.
kedi 08-28-03, 06:09 AM	well, 3ed books are easy to convert, except some differencesi theres nothing to change. you dont need to convert FRCS into 3.5, but if yer going to play npcs described, youll need to convert but thats a five minute work. I have most of the 3ed FRCSbooks and theyre still very usefulli stick with them until 4ed comes, I hope that will come... *kedi
kedi 08-28-03, 06:18 AM	I'm new to the DnD world so if it sounds like I don't know what I am talking about, it is probalby because I don't know what I am talking about. Are you new to boards too? if so, be free to ask me anything about tags to DnD or FR, happy to me if i can answer yer questions ;)
Xidis 08-28-03, 05:56 PM	reasonalby new. I got interested in DnD a while ago but I haven't had a chance to play yet cuz school just started. Hopefully the FRCS will make work easier and I can throw toghether a campaign quicker. Speaking of campaigns, what are some good campaign ideas for a bunch of newbies to the game, players and DM (me). Thanx
Finglas Leaflock 08-28-03, 10:17 PM	Actually, you're in luck; Races of Faerun and the Unapproachable East, since they're the most recent FR supplements, are 3.5 compatible. The Silver Marches is not, but is more focused on campaign information than on mechanics, so the conversion process shouldn't be too crazy there if you buy that book--it's a good one, IMO, and worth the price if you're interested in that part of Faerun.
