Definitive FR Calendar? [Archive] - Wizards Community

I have two questions. First, has someone put together a definitive FR calendar? What I mean by this is a calendar that would've all the important dates for all the religions and other important dates related to races, cultures, cities, and people. This sounds like a nice thing. Is there any a sage around who has compiled all this into one calendar?

My other question is related to FR in general. Is there a way to find out, when looking at the FR map, which product (2e -> 3.5e) has the info on which area? For example, I'm looking at the FR map and I see the area called "The Endless Wastes". Now, is there a way to find out which released product has information pertaining to that particular area?

As of yet, the answer is no.

This is the most exelent time line of FR history ever compiled!!!!
I've had this thing saved for some time now.
It is definitly worth looking at.

The questions that started this thread...
1. I think what was asked for was an anoted "Calender of Harptos" with the different holidays marked. Similar to the "Gregorian Calander" that hangs on my wall telling me when Canada has it's independence day.
This projet has been started several times, but with iver 100 deities, the religious holidays in itself is hard to compile.
A good start for this is within the link I mentioned earlier.(IIRC)

2. I haven't seen something like this but It would be nice.

12-22-04, 11:58 AM Aye, Ill pass along the gracious comments. I just bugged him to update the site. I'm going to attempt to assist him in this endevour, however I must admit he is the supreme-guru on the subject of Forgotten Realms (IMO).

12-25-04, 09:12 AM Yes, I didn't mean a history of the Realms (although that link that someone provided sure is a great one), but more like a calendar that would have all the recurrent, annually for example, dates for all the 'important stuff'. Such as important religious days, 'independence' days or stuff like that.

With this kind of thing it'd be a great GM helper to add some flair and detail into the world. If one could just check the current date of the campaign and then look at this calendar and see what kind of important dates lie ahead. But I guess this kind of thing doesn't exist.

The other thing I mentioned, the idea of looking at the FR map and then to be able to know what product has info on each particular area, would be a nice thing indeed.

They are most likely incomplete, but I think the one made by Autosponge (the one on the EN World site) is pretty good if it's the list I have seen.
