Does anyone know if there is going to be another Demon Stone game? Or a game related to Demon Stone?

-Being as that none of us really know more than you do, odds are, this isn't really the best place to ask this. Who made the game anyway? Atari? I'm not sure. But, the best thing to do is check the game developer's web site. That's where they release the information about games that are in progress, and release dates, and such.

It is very hard to find any kind of information of a possibilty of a Demon Stone 2, and the Demon Stone forum is very hard to get into. (Make a account, it's complicated)

-The best place I guess to find more information would be:

www.gamefaqs.com

-It's a videogame website. Check the messageboards there...

Since Wizards is currently licensing Eberron for an online game, another Forgotten Realms-based game seems unlikely at this time.

Just my opinion. Not that I'm happy about it. I'd really like to see Baldur's Gate III for the PS2. Those Champions of Norrath games sucked.

-Personally, I don't think that's a very good argument. Sony did not stop the production of PS games after the PS2 was released. So, Wizards doesn't neccesarily have to stop producing FR games after Eberron games are released.

-In the end, we're just going to have to wait and see...

the PS vs PS2 comparison's proably a bad one.

however I think what he means is that WOTC, for obvious reasons (they want their first in house campaign setting to be a sucess) is currently focusing on Pimping Ebberon so will likely make that the focus of their video games etc for a bit.

That being said I'd love to see a FR RTS game.

-How was that a bad comparison? On the contrary, I think it was a rather good one. Think of the Playstation as the Realms. Think of the Playstation 2 as Eberron. The PS2 was Sony's 'Next Gen' console. Eberron is the "New" and "Hip" campaign setting. Sony allowed publishers to continue releasing Playstation well after the advent of the PS2. Why? Because they were still selling. Like many other things, profit is the motivator. Is WotC going to forget all about the Realms? As long as there is a profit to be made from it, there is no way they'd neglect their biggest campaign world. And, there is surely lots of money to be made...

Neverwinter Nights 2 is supposed to come out this year sometime, that's Forgotten Realms right there. The first game was pretty good I thought ^_^

it's a bad comparison because the PS2 rendered the PS obselete. are you saying FR is obselete? :)

-No, I am trying to get this point across: The PS2 did not render the PS obsolete (Not at first anyway). After the PS2 was released, PS games were still being released- for another good year or so. People were still gobbling up PS games. There is still a rather large section of PS games on the shelf of any video game store, ten years after the thing was released, and nearly five after the PS2 debuted.

-Of course, they don't make PS games anymore. After a while, it wasn't really worth it anymore. God forbid, I don't want WotC to stop making FR games after a while. But, there will never be a point where it is not worth it to create more FR products. The point I was trying to make originally was that, even though there are new and exiciting things released, the old and faithful things are not casually tossed aside and forgotten.
