johniemi 11-24-04, 11:09 AM	Hi, can anyone give me Dendybar's stats (you know, the wizard in FR)? My players crossed paths with him and it just might turn up into a violent confrontation. I have no idea of his power level, like whether he has bodyguards or even a stronghold, so ALL information about him is welcome. Thanks! -John
Kid SixXx 11-24-04, 11:20 AM	I'm not sure about 3.5 stats, since Dendybar the Mottled has long been deceased, but his 2ed stats are in the Villain's Lorebook, which is available for free download in the Classic Realms Products at the WoTC homesite. http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/dnd/downloads IIRC, he was a wizard in his low teens, and he also had 3 or 4 cleric levels in the service Xvim the Baneson, who is also dead. His former base of operations was the North Spire of the Hosttower of the Arcane in the city of Luskan, as he murdered his master, Morkai the Red, in order to assume that post. When Akar Kessel discovers the Crystal Shard, Dendybar becomes interested in gaining it's power.. If it can turn an incompetant mageling like Kessel into a conquerer, imagine what it can do for a more seasoned wizard! Dendybar summons Morkai's spirit in order to divine the events in Icewind Dale concerning the Shard, but this is a mistake as Morkai later possesses Dendybar's flesh golem servant, Bok, who in turn pitches the Mottled One uncerimoniously from a ledge on the North Spire.
