Kadasbrass 01-30-06, 03:28 AM	While reading through the Shining South, I have become interested in obtaining more information on the region. I am wondering if anyone knows of any novels that are based in the region? Also are there any other sources with good information on the region? (Didn't think any of the downloadable 2nd edition looked like it was based there).
Fabius Maximus 01-30-06, 06:48 AM	The Counselors and Kings trilogy by Elaine Cunnnigham is set in Halruaa. The 2nd Ed. supplement was also called The Shining South, but I don't think it has more information than the new one, for once.

Try paizo.com for a PDF version at $4 US) -- FRCS 1e, 2e and 3e... - Ring of Winter -- Chult - Murder in Halruaa -- Halruaa - Magehound - Floodgate - Wizard War -- all three are set in Halruaa as part of the "Counselors and Kings" trilogy (Dambrath was featured briefly in the trilogy also)
ericlboyd 01-30-06, 10:16 AM	I'd suggest Serpent Kingdoms as well. It details a lot of the geographical areas bordering the lands covered in Shining South. --Eric
Kadasbrass 01-30-06, 12:37 PM	Thanks everyone, going to try and get some of those books. I do have Serpent Kingdoms, its a good book but I haven't read it as thoroughly as I have with Shining South yet.
