Devilish Activity in the Realms [Archive] - Wizards Community

06-30-04, 02:21 PM A pal o' mine once took a group on the olf Hordes of Dragonspear adventure. He's looking to sequel the adventure, as the Pit Fiend Bazka survived the first adventure.

At his request, I ask...what kind of devil-based activity is there remaining in the realms?

07-01-04, 12:14 AM The biggest place for Devil activity is most likely Myth Drannor.
But that is quite aways away from Dragonspear though.
While Hellgate Keep was the biggest for Demons.

Could always make someplace in the mountains to the east of the Silver Marches.

07-01-04, 12:11 PM I know that Damaran lands are filled with stories of demons and devils. This is due to old Narfell. This was a kingdom that summoned evil nasties. I can't recall if it is just demons, devils, or both (or even which). This holds true for all areas around Narfell (Gread Dale, etc).

I mean, really... the greatest triumph of human and elven magic and civilization and it got stomped by three Nycaloths. Three puny Nycaloths. The lowest you can go and still be considered a greater Yugoloth... and they took down that city."

"What happened? Did Ao, that prime material world's overdeity set the place on easy mode or something and neglect to tell us fiends? What gives? I think I might be apt to take a vacation to that world. You know, peddle some 'great and powerful magic' that I learned 6000 years ago as a child, bargain for mortal souls, corrupt some rulers, drive men to despair and mothers to suicide. All that fun stuff that Arcanaloths like to do when not scribing all day or incinerating Tanar'ri or Baatezu, depending on who's paying us at the time."

*ponders opening a portal to Toril...*

"Heck... I might even manage to waltz into Silverymoon and claim that I'm a lupinal. Not a bad idea..."
