Did Valamaradace get screwed over? [Archive] - Wizards Community

02-27-04, 03:17 PM Did Valamaradace get screwed over? I don't know. I always thought she was a Female Great Wyrm Gold Dragon! What do you all think?

02-27-04, 03:43 PM No, she was listed as being "venerable" in 2E (I just looked in Dragon). That was age category 10. Under the new rules, age category 10 is now "ancient". Great Wyrm remains unchanged, at age category 12. The relative ages are the same, as well. 801-1000 for venerable/ancient, and 1201+ for great wyrm.

Her age in the new write-up is correct.

Now the dragon queen is ancient (small mistake) and Silverwing is adult! If one got screwed over than it is he.

Once more, incorrect. Both the web article and the original Dragon Magazine article listed him as a wyrm. I just checked.

On the other hand, age is seen as a good thing in dragon society, but still...
