| Deitus02-10-04, 03:46 PM | Hey all I've run into a bit of a problem, or at least a potential problem. I co-DM a game, and It looks like the other guy is about to bail on the group. That sucks, but the worst thing is right now, my adventure ends this Sunday, only going to take about 2 hours max to clue up, at which point the Dm's switch palces and his adventure was supposed to strt. So it looks like I'm going to have to ssend the guys on another one. I have a couple of adventures written, but they all are scaled to account for the fact that they will be played every second one. I have a bit of an idea running in my head, and I want a bit of help in filling it in. My group: Human paladin of Tyr Human Cleric of Torm Halfling rogue halfling Ranger There should normally be a fifth member, either a human barb, or a human Sorc, depending on who is DMing. This Fifth guy will be left out this adven. I have an Idea about having one of the religious characters getting sent by his church to do some thing, but I can't get any further than that. The campaign is set in the silver marches, mainly Everlund. They have been adventuring recently in the Moors, So I'm going to avoid that local. I'm not adverse to leaving the Marches for a short time, but I will be going back there. I'd appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks, Deitus |

Something like a cleric of Cyric is planning to break the tome where a portal leading to the nine hells is sealed. It is up to you guys to stop him. Don't forget Cyric is a lier and loves to bring good men down. Maybe your party is tricked into doing something wrong and then later must right there own wrong. Anyway good luck! P.S. Sorry about losing the every other week playing. I know it is hard sometimes DMing all the time and not playing. |
| Lord Kellnor02-10-04, 04:20 PM | Hi Deitus First, what level are the characters? Secondly, have the party get into a situation thatīs a little on the edge. For example, let them be witnessess in a trial (or to a crime) in a town where thereīs a corrupt legal system. Then see how the Tyr and Torm characters handle the situation. On one side, they should respect and honor the law, but only if itīs just and fair. Itīs up to them how to solve the problem. Perhaps the perpetrator is connected to the local thieves guild who has paid off the judge. Or perhaps some wicked cult to a devilish deity is involved? In short: make a corrupt system and see how the goody players decide to right the wrong. -Lord Kellnor |
| Deitus02-11-04, 02:21 PM | Hey there, Thanks for the rplies there. It looks like the other DM is back onboard, for now. The situation is a bit flaky at the moment. And i'm a bit on the angry side. While trying to quit smoking. So I'll avoid a stupid rant, and save everybody from having to think "what a tool". Thanks again Deitus |
