I did and was pretty happy with the results. I took a break after a year and a half of running it to refresh and fugure out my next move and storyline.

Did ya do anything different with the place? I killed off the old first speaker prior to my players entering the town. She was murdered and her killer was never caught. It is now run by a council made up of a cleric of Helm, a cleric of Waukeen, a few town elders and a new First Speaker. The new 1st Speaker if a business woman from Waterdeep. She decided to let religion back into the town. It seems the old 1st Speaker wasn't so keen on organized religion running things.

The town in the beginning was not a part of the Silver Marches but by the end of my first chapter it was accepted into the new country. This had to do with the discovery of a rare mineral named Chardalyn found beneath Nesme. My main villain is a cleric of Talos named Mogrymn who manipulated the chief of Griffon's Nest, Kralgar, into doing his bidding. Mogrymn even got several giants from the Evermoors to help him assault Nesme'. Eventually Kralgar was killed and Mogrymn has taken over the Griffons Nest tribe and converted them to Talos. It seems all Mogrymn wanted was to dethrone Kralgar and take over the town.

I just read the RAS novels that had Nesme in it and am glad he didn't muck around with it too much. It is nice that my players aren't the FR fiends that I am. I guess in my game they came to the town several months after it was retaken form the trolls.

So, have ya used this loaction in your campaign and did ya chaned it in any way?

I started running my current FR campaign prior to RAS' novels in the SIlver Marches. The start off adventure was in Nesme, where the town was seeing more trolls than usual in its borders and was desparate to get its metal goods out to other towns/cities in return for supplies & aide. The convoy's were lost to trolls & early orc skirmishers in the area.
Fast forward amny adventures and through the release of the 3rd book of the trilogy, the PCs kept very close to the official storyline (without much prodding on my part) and now the party cleric has taken up residence in Nesme where the threat of the new orc controled lands still threaten the well being of a fragile town on the verge of colapse.
