The Simbul 01-25-04, 07:41 PM	I know I have been saying this for a while, but I am fully statting and planning to post my versions of the Seven Sisters, and am a bit stumped as to whom Dove and Laeral's favored enemies (from their levels in the Ranger class) should be. Their listed stat blocks for 3rd edition (which needless to say I will be sufficiently altering) have their levels set at: Dove Falconhand Rgr14/Sor9/Rog4/Hrp1 Laeral Silverhand Wiz/19/Sor4/Rgr7 Any thoughts? In Laeral's shorter entry in the 2nd ed Heroes Lorebook, she has the rather vague "evil spellcasters" listed amongst her foes/enemies. Is that a reasonable selection for a favored enemy in 3rd edition? Storm Silverhand has the Zhentarim listed as her favored enemy for her levels in the Harper Scout class (a PrC to be axed and replaced with the Harper Agent in 3.5 PGtF, which does not have a Favored enemy featre in its new version). I was principally intending upon using the Zhentarim and Red Wizards as their favored enemies, however I am a bit stumped since they are very old and they may have taken most of their Ranger levels early on in their careers (at least in Laeral's case) and thus may not have encountered or pursued such foes at that time in history. Just curious if I am missing any major piece of information with regards to their history (specificaly appearences in Novels) that I may have missed out on and might indicate their prefered foes.
dragonheart 02-19-04, 11:45 AM	well the cult has been around a long time so that is probably one. but I suspect that the first favored enemy is something prosaic - orcs, goblinoids or the like simply because as powerful as they are now they started off at first level and that is what you fight then, so taking it makes sense from a survivability viewpoint.
