In any of the novels if he has could you tell me where? note:- not his darkness, farie fire and levitation. :confused: :confused: :confused: *Spoilers below for those who haven't read the books* Hmmm....I seem to recall, back in his early years when he was training at Melee Mathgare(sp?) and spent a bit of training at...Sorcery?(sp?) ...whatever the school for Wizards is in Menzoberranzan(sp?)...regardless, he cast a few minor cantrips there(That would be Homeland). Also, right before his first battle with Errtu(That would be The Crystal Shard), he made a weak attempt at a summoning circle? That's about as far as his magical prowess goes I believe...

BT On the Ice Floes when he "befriends" a seal and trains it to dive into the water and retrieve things. Not specifically stated as a spell but it certainly is hard to explain without thinking Animal Friendship or something similar.
Darius the Barbarian 11-03-03, 03:28 AM	He didn't really cast any spells in an obvious and clearly visible way but some of his ranger abilities could be considered subtle, nature-related spells.
