I've recently become a hug fan of Drizzt and was wonder which game he's made an appearance in, I already know you can unlock him as a character in Baldure's gate II Dark alliance for the ps2 but what others?

You can play as him in Demonstone for PS2 and PC (only on one level).

Drizzt appears in both Baldur's Gate games, but you don't play as him. You can team up with him, attack him, or simply be indifferent to him.

In Baldur's Gate 1 if you manage to kill him (won't be easy, and cause some serious reputaion loss) then you can have his equipment. The most powerful items in the game.

Yeah, I remember him in Bauder's Gate

Used to hack the game a lot while waiting for Neverwinter Nights and I made a spell called "Summon Hero"...lol

Cast the spell 5 times and there would be 5 Drizzts on your side...it was hillarious, though neccesary cause some of the Hacked Modules like "Darkside of the Sword Coast" was just to fricken hard in it's Hack and Slash without extra help that was easily relpaced (Dead Drizzts lying everywhere when facing the Dragons)

Speaking of Neverwinter Nights, There are Stuff in the NWN Community that Allows you to play Drizzt as your PC as well as a few fan Based Modules conserning or including Drizzt.

There's a cheat in BG1 that creates creatures (for testing purposes, initially). In all the hard battles, I'd use it to summon a Drizzt or five who would just plough through the opposition.

(Okay, like GoldDragon did, though without the hack.)

-I'm sure there are plenty of CG Drow Rangers who wield two scimitars that happened to be named Drizzt running around on various NWN and NWN2 online forums.

You can use the Neverwinter Nights character creation and toolkit to "create" Drizzt. I don't think you can add the panther though.

NWN 1 has a panther as both a familiar and an animal companion, for just this reason I expect.

You need the PRC fan-made add-on pack to get the Drow though.

Ah yes, as I recall (from quite a while back) it's possible to meet up with Drizzt and friends in the fan-created module "An Ancient Heart".

Actually in BGII: DA You can play as Drizzt.
and Zak. (Drizzt's father)
First you have to beat the game to unlock the hardest difficulty(cant remember what its called)
Then you have to beat the game again on that difficulty to unlock the Gauntlet.
The gauntlet is where you play as Drizzt.
If you beat the Gauntlet, (difficult as Drizzt is only lvl 15 or so, and there are a million creatures) Then you can play the regular game on normal and easy with Drizzt.
Beat the game on Normal with Drizzt to play on Hard with Drizzt
Beat the game on Hard with Drizzt to play on Hardest (whatever its called)
Beat on Hardest with Drizzt To unlock Gauntlet with Zak.
Cant play main game with Zak.

Also just a little extra info.
There are a few places during the games interactions with NPCs that their reactions change, But the biggest one is when you fight the Drow Priestess in the Underdark.
Her entire conversation with the other three characters is gone and she starts "preaching" to the "traitor" that she will punish him to gain Lloth's favor.
And throughout the battle you'll hear her yell "traitor"
i just like how the developers of the game added that to tie in Salvatore's most famous character.

I'm talking about the "regular" Baldur's Gate games (the REAL ones, in my opinion), NOT the Dark Alliance series.

Do I?

Dude, Baldur's Gate I and II are a freaking classic. The games which can rival them can be counted on the fingers of a careless butcher. If there ever was a computer RPG class in school, they should be studied as meticulously as Shakespeare for English lit and the Periodic Table for Chemistry.
