soulthief 03-04-06, 04:46 PM	It depends are they lloth worshipping drow? If so they could be employed to help track down the worshippers of Vharaun, the duegar and Scoured Legion. They could start clearing the nearby tunnels. Read WoTSQ. Tons of ideas are bound to pop up. What is the party made up of?
Alac Luin 03-04-06, 06:14 PM	Svifeneblin were-rats have been operating closer to Menzo, find out what they are looking for. A Mind Flayer ally has been attacked traveling between her home and Menzo, you go to find out who (Gith really) and in act vengeance. A patrol from the academy is heading to the surface for a surface raid. A member of an enemy family/ merchant house is supposed to receive a powerful item from a surface contact during the surface raid. The adventurers need to shadow the surface raid party and stop the agent from returning to Menzo with the item.

blindcynic 03-05-06, 03:44 PM	Okay so...how about this A non-Drow merchant in the Bazaar becomes ally of one or all of the PC's. Really useful and helpful. I mean you'll have to roleplay your butt off for this so that at least one or two of the PC's feel that either A) they want to know where this merchant is? (Maybe he had a cool magic item or a choice bit of info on an important Drow NPC) B) They need to kill him/her Anyway an Enemy Drow house has him/her they are torturing him and using whatever knowledge he has to go after the PC's. They don't keep him in their house though or their compound, nope they keep him hidden somewhere in the Bazaar. They use low level to mid level lizard folk druids or half orc rangers or something interesting as hired muscle to carry out their actions. Or A mature adult female bronze dragon has had one of her eggs stolen and taken here to Menzberrenzan. She has hired good surface NPC's to try and find it but they failed. And actually died trying to find it. The Bronze dragon becomes desperate and offers 250,000 gp to a Drow mercenary band to find it and safely return it. The Drow mercenaries come into Menzo out of some other Drow city where she is from. They start killing people and stuff looking for the egg. The Drow mercenaries use rary's telepathic bond and four or five trained umber hulks as part of their team. They work quickly and efficiently with gold. Finally coming to believe that the PC's or their House has the egg and begin hassling the PC's. Or A group of Drow of NON Menzo origin are found dead, slashed to ribbons by weapons of Duergar make, most likely from the dwarves of Gracklestugh, it comes to light that these dwarves are from some other drow city and were trying to find a certain master of Sorcere. When the corpses are questioned by the PC's priestess she discovers they are there to kill Gromph Baenre and had help waiting inside Sorcere to just that. It seems that some other Drow city wanted Menzo without an Archmage... Or A group of 3-6 beholders hole up just outside Donigarten, with there 350 or so grimlock slaves and start attacking. This of course is just silly as Menzo Drow just lay waste to the grimlocks and maybe one or two of the beholders. When it is discovered elsewhere in the city, one of the noble houses is a smoking ruin. All of it's nobles are dead, by the hand of some other Drow house. Was this other Drow house is collusion with the beholders? Or just taking an opportunity? The PC's must investigate... try those ideas. They were made up on the fly, of course you could always stick with the basic Drow intrigue between houses and stuff. But I find a few months of that and you gotta move on to something new... peace.
