Come on people, get a life, there are other things to Toril than Drow. And don't give me that whole "they look cool"! argument, you superficial drow lovers! Why doesn't someone write about Sembia for a change, or even Halruaa, or how about Maztica, or how about anywhere but the Underdark (and the north). I know who you are you Drizzt wannabes. On a more serious note, why doesn't Wizards make a Drow Forum? Then everyone will be happy.

Amoun 03-12-04, 04:07 PM	while I myself am not infatuated with everything drow, I will have to say this much a lot of people like drow. I really dont see a problem with this, some people like dragons, some like epic campaigns, some like elves, dwarves, some love drow (and there are a lot of em apparently :P). Basically your post is to be very frank, pointless. Its a matter of personal preferance and tastes, if you dislike drow (which it seems you do) you might as well say it in a tactful manner to not sound outright rude and generally ignorant (I am not saying you are, just telling you please take care not to insult posters on these boards because thats just mean and you should respect other people's choices/likes/tastes/preferences). If on the off chance that you are purposely starting a flame war I will just say pike it berk and stop being a clueless. Also I would encourage people not to encourage this potential troll... Of course, if you just misworded your post because you were in a bad mood or just things were going wrong then its perfectly understandable. I just hope you are mature enough to realize what proper ettiquete is :D So live long, be happy and if this is a troll please dont feed it... trolls eat too much as it is :)

Honestly Mazteca...Dude Mazteca sucks the sweat of dead Drow butts. And I don't mean a light sucking I'm talkin Rainbow here...There is no amount of suckage that even comes close to Mazteca...(spelljammer maybe) Please I'll take a drow over anything from that horrid vile thing called mazteca.....
Twilight Herald 03-12-04, 08:59 PM	Drow are currently a hot topic for conversation, partially at least, because of the ongoing War of the Spider Queennovel series, which is one of the best epic-scale, setting-changing sequences of Forgotten Realms stories in recent times. The Silence of Lolth has a lot of implications not only for the novel line but for the game setting itself, so of course people are interested in the drow at the moment. Also many drow-related threads are started not by drow enthusiasts but by fans of humans or shades eager to start "my race" vs the Drow" discussions.
