Hi Everyone,

So in light of a recent game I've started, I've been toying with the idea about playing the campaign I have started to the end, but then having the storyline pick back up with a new campaign with the children of the characters currently playing through the current campaign.

The current campaign is going to end with City of the Spider Queen. I was hoping for either ideas or stories of people who have done this, or ideas of how to continue with City of the Spider Queen, with the children reaching even higher levels than the parents....

Thanks in advance!

Kinda tough to do without some major leaping ahead in the current timeframe in a lot of ways, which is certainly fine, but requires a bit of contemplation as to how things work out if you step beyond the current timeline, or make significant alterations to it with your PC's actions. Whenever I have done this, which is probably too frequently really, I've always massively backdated the story, preferrably just pre-ToT so you can use it as a backdrop and reason for retirement, but that really only good once so, and tried to stay true to the theme of the realms if not the canon history when my players go mucking about with that canon history. Not much, but I hope it helps some.

Well I don't stick to canon very often so changing the storyline isn't out of the question.
