Anyway, spotted a place on-line mentioning work on a Forgotten Realms Television Series, and I am interested to see what the deal is. Also, what would people be looking forward to if it were happening? Wondering who will do the different characters.. you know, the headliners and such... interesting.
Masakado 06-17-04, 04:07 PM	I wish there were something at the Wizards website to settle this once & for all. To make a long story short (as well as not giving you a smarmy answer like "Search Feature is your friend!" or "Hello & Welcome to 2002"), Fireworks / Can-West (the producers of Andromeda & Mutant X) purchased the license to option a TV series about 2 or so years ago. The license ran out a long time ago & there are no plans to renew it. RA Salvatore was asked to do the treatment for the pilot & one can only assume that's been shelved indefinitely as well.

Also when I met him in Canada, I'm glad that it didn't get produced because he mentioned that they wanted to turn it into a sex show..... Naked drow and the like, etc.... Sure I like naked people as much as the next person but american TV would have had to tone it down if it ever was picked up here.

Lancelot3679 06-18-04, 10:47 AM	Ouch, yeah that would suck., Was wondering how old the post was, and the only thing that I could pull off it was a Dec 2003 date. Wonder if it was ripped from somewhere else and slapped up. Anyway, thanks for the info.
